Pretty.
The enhanced position does help. A little faster and easier. Husband has discovered that he needs to stretch his hip flexors to assume the position. Five year old thinks it is great and wants to invite the grandparents to try it. Attractive finish. I think maybe you are actually supposed to hover in a squatting position but I just sit with feet on the footrests. I broke my collarbone recently and it would not do to lose my balance.

Just not for us
This item was much too cumbersome and NOISEY on our ceramic tile every time you tried to place it correctly for use. I know that a lot of people like the results with this stool but it wasn't worth the banging around to get it into position to find any reasonable improvement.

Lets Thousands of Years of Evolution Do Its Work
When stored along the wall in our bathroom, this looks like an innocuous bench or low stool. But really, it's a secret weapon in the war against the ludicrous position that modern toilets put us in for the execution of a simple bowel movement. For thousands of years, our ancestors assumed a squat position to do their business. Then, with the invention of the toilet in the 1800s, the sitting position suddenly became required if you wanted to go number two indoors.A few years ago, when I was out backpacking and going #2 in the squat position over a hole, it occurred to me: "Why doesn't someone invent something that allows you to squat while using a traditional toilet?" Well, thankfully that invention has come. As you probably know, there are plastic and wood versions of these raised stepping stools -- I prefer this wood one, as it doesn't look like it belongs in a hospital and blends in to my bathroom decor and style.So how does this work? You just pull it over to the toilet, step up, drop your pants or whatever, and then squat down. Then just let thousands of years of evolution go to work. Gone are the days of pushing and waiting. Instead: WHOOOOSH! and out it goes. When you think you have to go the stool is the perfect assistant.

Excellent Product ...
I'm glad I invested In buying the wooden stool from stool easy, it actually accents my bathroom cabinets quiet well, it's made with high quality wood and very sturdy. I am impressed. Aside from its good quality going to the bathroom is a lot more comfortable then before. Over all it is a excellent product and the good part is that it is made in the USA
