Money Soap

I ordered 6 of these money soaps for a stocking stuffer for my children and my nieces and nephews for Christmas. They did ship fast, and came attractively packaged, but opening them was another story. I purchased them in hopes of the children washing their hands more often. This was a fail as my brother and husband immediately got out a kitchen knife and cut them in half to get to the money. I was nervous with all of the kids getting to the middle together as I didn't want anyone to feel left out if they didn't get as much as the next kid, but that didn't seem to be a problem. All were encasing a $1 bill which made me feel ripped off. Under the sellers information it states there there is a different donation in each bar. If you were to do the math on this you would find that at least 1 of the bars that I purchased would have had a larger amount than $1 inside. This leads me to believe that there is only $1 bills in these bars of soap and then the price gets jacked up to make a profit of over $9. Yes, it's cool to have money in your soap when your a kid. Even as an adult I thought that this was a cool idea and would like to receive one. But in the end, it is a complete rip-off and you would be better to make your own soap with money in it for less than a dollar for each bar.

My son gets this in his stocking every year, but he's never been patient enough to use it until the money comes out - he usually digs it out within a week or so. We've never fiund more than a $5 bill in the soap, but the anticipation of finding out how much you get is always part of the fun. The smell of the soap is very strong - kind of fruity and floral - which is a little cloying.

Nothing like having your kid's spend the day in the bath to get the money out. I wish all soap had money in it.

They were bought for two kids.Both loved them.They are a little pricy, given you can get a bar of custom made, specialty flavored soap for about $3-$ less. I would buy them again. Delivery was quick, they were competitively priced. Would deal with them again.

I've seen this product in catalogs for several years and always gotten a chuckle out of it. Finally, this year I purchased it as a tongue-in-cheek stocking stuffer for my teenage daughter. It certainly had the desired comedic effect, and everyone thought the item was cute and silly. But my daughter, being a teenager, genuinely wanted to use the soap and work her way toward the cash in the middle. That was where things went wrong. In the very first use the soap cracked in half and revealed the dollar inside. Not that I expected the world's best soap product, but it would have been nice if it actually held together through several uses.

This purchase was for my daughter. She loved the idea of money being hidden within the soap. Her joy subsided when she opened the bag and saw only $1, lol. She kind of expected it though. She'd watched Money Soap videos on You Tube and the kids in the video got nothing more than a dollar as well.

We got this a little late in the mail but it is a nice product and the sellers were great about keeping me up to date on the status of the shipping. I think it's fun and is worth the price. I don't expect my daughter to get a $100 bill inside but if she does I will be pleasantly shocked. If there is a $1 bill then I will still be happy with my purchase as I expect nothing more than that. I would order it again--great fun for kids!

Soap smells great and was fun when my kids first got them years ago , even if they only find 1$ bills. Should cost a lil less though
