It works
It works well. I was able to connect it with the app of a similar brand, and it seems compatible. I also have it connected with Alexa, and it works reasonably well. My expectations were not very high.

Makes your lights easily turn off and on-able
I have lots of these around the house and outside too. I bought this one to use outside to control LED strips on my front gate post. These controllers are easy to install and setup, have good wifi range, easily controllable from the app or via Alexa. Never had one fail and are usually reasonable value for money.

Shocking service for a dangerous item!
I've bout loads of these in the past and most are still working fine. I decided to add a few more strips around the house so bought 3 of these in May 22. All was well until a few days ago, I thought I could smell burning plastic but just put it down to a mini freezer I bought and it being new. If turned out it wasn't it was, I use these to run a small strip that sits above the dining room cabinets as some ambient back lights that bounce off the ceiling they are low level lit and hardly on if Im honest, Alexa turns them on and off on a schedule and not on for more than a few hours! Anyway as the picture shows the hole thing has melted and could have caused a fire and worst case destroyed the house or me! Now I am a pretty forgiving chap and understand things break and that's fine but I do expect someone to take responsibility! I contacted the seller who asked me for all sorts of information and a picture, basically trying to wriggle out of it as it Im trying it on! The value of the item is so low that replacing it is not likely to make them bankrupt! I have another one out of the 3 that is also very hot so Ive taken that one out too but the other one works fine (I even tested it on the other led strips) so 2 are faulty, after lots of messages back and forth I was offered some as replacements but was told id have to wait 30 days or more as they would be shipped from China, yet they have them in stock in the UK for next day delivery! I suggested they could apply a gift card to my account for the 2 and I would re-order them but they wont do that and nor do they want to ship from their UK stock! I find this pretty disgusting from a customer service perspective and considering that a fire could have been caused I would have though that they would be offering not only replacement but some form of compensation for the trouble (but I must have fallen asleep at some point as that is not reality!) So Ive been patient and they cant be bothered now hoping I will give up! So here is my review of them as a company. The product itself when working is fine , but Id be careful and maybe place them on a fire proof mat if you can just in case.!

Great controller. Won't beat it at this price point.
Works great, app is good and feature rich.

Flimsy, when working it great. But easy to break.
I ordered 2 as my previous one had failed when I left it powered on whilst changing the connector pins. My fault, but way to easy - no protection built in. When the two new items arrived, one was already broken. With the power lead freely spinning. Obviously either not soldered or the wires inside had come off.My advice. Be careful with them and they will be fine. Otherwise don't expect any support from the supplier.
