Lights up my World
After nearly wetting myself with laughter when saw the price of a Fuji branded TTL flash I quickly looked around and found this little gem at a fraction of the price.I have been using a Yongnuo YN468-II for last the last few years but it's not TTL. Also on a FujiX-E2 it looks a little big and makes the camera a bit top heavy. The Yongnuo is a fantastic flash though and is great for off camera with various diffusers. I just needed something smaller for parties, informal wedding shots and something I didn't constantly need to be adjusting settings on. The Meike does all that,Out of the box, pop in the batteries, switch on, make sure it is on TTL and off you go. That simple.Simple and effective. Better than the built in flash as it is not as harsh, especially with the diffuser on. No blown out images yet so the TTL works well. The head is adjustable but doesn't point behind you so no shots using a rear wall as a light source. However in most real world situations I can work around that.Really like the little modelling light option (stroke of genius there) and I like the way you can recharge the batteries by just plugging in a phone charger. (although if you're sensible you will always have spare batteries on you) The menu is simple to understand and the whole flash is a pleasure to use. I really can't find anything to fault on it. Even the refresh time is as fast as I can refocus.I would highly recommend it. At the price it is a steal compared to the Fuji branded stuff.Update - After reading a few reviews on disappointing refresh rates I messed about with a few battery brands. Top end batteries i.e. Duracell Industrial and you will have no issues. However use a low end battery i.e. Panasonic, Kodak. £1 for 10 etc and you will struggle. It's the same story for rechargeable. You get what you pay for. If you're having refresh rate problems I would recommend changing up to a better battery brand.Works on and off camera using this trigger - https://www.amazon.co.uk/Channels-Wireless-Speedlite-Umbrella-Universal/dp/B0186P8I18/ref=cm_aya_orig_subjIt also triggers the YN468-II when the Yongnuo is put into slave mode.

Good quality, good value.
Really nice little flash. Decently powerful, will swivel and tilt to bounce in both landscape and portrait orientation. Well built, with metal hot shoe. Full manual adjustment and TTL. I'm using with X-Pro1 and X-T1. When used with the X-T1's included EF-X8 flash in Commander mode, it can be used as an off-camera wireless manual flash.

good little flash but wont work with OCF cord
Not a bad little flash this, easy to use and plenty of punch for such a small unit. The only thing thats a little disappointing is that it wont work in TTL with an off camera cord. Ive tried a few cords (which works fine with the Nissin i40)and after a quick google my confusion was confirmed, it simply doesnt work.

Look for a better quality flash gun.
Purchased this in March 2017. It lasted just over 8 Months before it failed. Now although it powers up it won't talk to the camera. I have used it on a Fuji XT2 and an XE2 and it won't work on either in TTL Mode or the slave modes. My other flashes work fine on both cameras. Although it worked fine at first the fact that it failed so easily leads me to believe that this is a cheap and nasty product and best avoided. The instructions that came with it are poor as well and there is no information on fault finding.

Excellent value
Arrived very quickly. Seems to work very well as TTL flash on my FUji X30. Good quality (and nice packaging too) and very well featured at this price

Not impressed
Slow recycle, not very powerful and quite pricey. Doesn't seem to work too well with Fuji.

Good value.
I was looking for a compact inexpensive flash that can bounce a swivel and this one is just about perfect. It's great value for money, well made and does a lot more than the Fujifilm EF20.I'm not sure that the GN stated is a true GN but it's fairly powerful for it's size and cost and is at least as powerful as the EF20.
