The very first thing I noticed about the Groovx Speakers were that they are HARD, with no flexibility whatsoever. Meaning, your neck can only be so BIG otherwise they do not FIT all body types. I'm about 225lbs and everytime I wear them there is a slight PINCH on both sides of my neck before the rest on my shoulders. You get used to it but I do realize if I gain weight I can't fit them anymore. The next thing I noticed was that these speakers were LOUD. Especially when syncing with Bluetooth. Its annoying at first since it's so close to your ears but you get used to it. What I dislike the most are the BUTTON PLACEMENTS. its awkward trying to find the power button, the "M" button on top switches on a Static filled radio system, you will then have to press it again to switch h it back to bluetooth and Re-sync it again, which is loud. These buttons are placed near your RIGHT CHEEK so that your face can accidentally press them. It's a bad design. Sound quality is what you'd expect from one of those flea market bluetooth speakers, not crystal clear but bearable. Battery life is just long enough to complete, whatever task you are using them for because I don't recommend wearing them for a long period of time. I use them for driving hands free and music while cleaning so I can also hear around me. They get the job done if you are looking for a Wearable speaker EXPERIENCE... but now I understand and will be investing in a more Expensive but comfortable speaker. This will be fine as a temporary replacement, or short term use. This should not be your permanent accessory. Maybe if Groovx invested in a better designer the product could be more enjoyable. It passes the test for a bearable speaker but it doesn't do more than the very basics for this type if EXPERIENCE.

I am impressed with this neckphone. I purchased different one for my husband, which he loves but it didn't sit comfortably on my neck. When I saw this one I thought it might be better for me. I really do like it. It has a curve so it rests easily on my shoulders and is easy on my neck. It paired easily. The directions are not as detailed as should be however I have had several speakers that work the same way as this one. I believe it is a pretty common configuration. The speakers are totally invisible and the velvet facing is attractive. The volume and forward button are raised and about a quarter inch in size which makes it easy to use them just by touch. The sound is great and full enough for an enjoyable listening experience. It charges with a common usb connection, included along with an aux cable.

This was a great introduction to Neck Headphones. So much more comfortable than regular headphones or earbuds. The sound quality was decent, although not as impressive as headphones, but the comfort factor more than compensated for that. I also liked the fact that I could plug the neck headphones into a boom box if I wanted to, although I never did that since I liked being untethered with the Bluetooth. One of the bad features is that when yoku are connecting the neck headphones via Bluetooth, the device screams in your ear that the Bluetooth is enabled and then again when the conncetion is established, regardless of what level you have your volume set at. So make sure you get the connection done BEFORE wearing the neck headphones.Sadly, the Bluetooth would no longer connect after about a month or so, so I bought the BOSE Soundwear product, which happened to be on sale. The Bose has slighter better sound quality, but the Bose sound quality was not as good as I thought it would be - but at least the Bluetooth connection works. on the Bose.So, the GROOVX is a good starter product to try out neck headphones but I cannot vouch for their long-term reliabiltity.

It works good, very clear sound, easy to operate, Nice packaging, Not much on instructions. Was not expecting much but pleased with this wearable speaker. I have difficulty with earphones so I gave this thing a try. It sounds, is made and works well. Top of device is fabric covered so it does not cause sweat like bare plastic. I live half way between NYC and Philadelphia, crowded airwaves. Difficult radio reception. This picks up my favorite stations good. Bluetooth function easy to pair and sounds good. Have not tried phone function, I use a land line. Hand set works fine with this on. I'm using this in bed and it's comfortable. If you have a big neck like me it has to be separated a bit to get it on. However it stays in place good when I move around. Only improvement would be if it were softer material not hard plastic. A real winner at this price!

Love it! Amazing sound for music. Buttons are fine. Plays music from usb stick as well. Battery life is fine. Would 10 hours be better? Sure it would but then it would either be much more expensive or have worse sound. I have a size 18 neck (shirt size) and it is not uncomfortable for me to put on or remove. If you are only listening to podcasts or audiobooks then you can get a similar priced piece with more battery life and reduced sound quality. Cool bag and great product.

I purchased this product thinking it would be a great surround sound alternative to my headphones. And while the device does have a long battery and decent sound quality, it is NOT stereo audio. I know this because in Windows 10 you can alter individual sides of stereo output, making one side quieter or louder. However, when trying to perform this using this portable speaker, attempting to make one side louder/quieter actually moves BOTH sides' volumes. This indicates that there is ONE audio signal, not two, and that the audio output is mono and NOT stereo. Stereo audio would have to separate audio outputs that can be individually altered. I am giving this product 2 stars instead of 1 because aside from what appears to be a blatant lie, the device works fine and hasn't given me any battery/charging problems YET. If you care about having real stereo audio, steer clear of this one, if not, it's a decent buy.
