Cobalt Aquatics Square Planter Basket

I got these so I could put plants into an outdoor pond. They are very nice, solid and work well.

Perfect pond basket for training bonsai with smaller particle substrate. I've tried two other styles and this is the only one that has small enough holes to use with Turface, Safe-T-Sorb, or other typical bonsai substrates.It's a tad pricier than using dollar store collanders, but I prefer having all my plants in deeper containers. (Also doesn't hurt that I no longer have to purchase random color collanders).4.5 out of 5 (5 star if they had bulk discount pricing)

Great pots

The basket has large holes that are subdivided by small holes. I used refined sphagnum moss and none went through the holes. I am hanging the baskets into my pond water, and water easily enters the holes in the basket. They are flexible, but sturdy enough to keep their shape when being suspended by the four corners. These are exactly as expected.

The mesh size is just perfect for even small grain bonsai soil comparing to the other pond baskets you find at lowe's, etc. The plastic is kinda soft but won't effect the purpose in my opinion.

Fits perfectly inside the rim of a 10 gallon tank to breed fish. I now have more White Cloud Mountain Minnows and Tetras than I know what to do with.

This basket is very sturdy and the water flows freely through it. *I am using this basket for a different purpose than intended. I’m using it along with a fine mesh plant bag, to pump water in & out from my pond, without harming tadpoles. It’s been banged and tossed around without and damage. Five stars for durability.

This is a nice pot for lillies in my pond.

Received the product. This product is not a value for money product. The basket is small, and its depth is quite less. The mess gaps aren't small enough to prevent soil from running out, therefore the pot has to be lined with a fabric / non woven fabric before soil is poured in to plant anything.

The plastic is a little flimsy when I move the plant around in my pond, but it does the job. Check the size - it’s very big!
