I love and appreciate the design and warmth of Pendleton throws. I recently bought this for the second timeAs a Christmas gift for my son. I highly recommend the product .

I love Pendleton products and have many clothing items and several blankets made by them. I spent months with it on my Amazon wish list, deciding whether or not to buy the Chimayo Throw at the normal price point. I did comparison shopping at the Pendleton website and others, at airports (to physically see the product and quality). When I saw a discounted price, I jumped at the opportunity to purchase it. It is lighter weight that Pendleton's famous blankets. Although is its beautiful, and mostly true to color (slightly less vibrant than my computer monitor showed), the finish on the throw is not what I expected based on Pendleton's usual standard of quality. My complaint is that the (non-fringed) sides of the throw are not finished in any way, no stitching, bias binding, etc. It is a raw cut edge that will, over time, and with use, fray. I am disappointed that an item so pricey (for me) should have to be altered to give it the longevity Pendleton brand boasts about. Perhaps the throw I received was a second, can't say. Discount or not, I don't know if I will keep it, considering the additional time and expense to "fix it" to be able to use it. I am sad to say I am disappointed in the product.

The colors on this blanket or rather doll even though it looks pretty much like the photo. It was lightweight and not as soft as I hoped it would be. I returned it.

This is more of a shawl-weight than a blanket. It's lovely, but not what I need. I'm returning this and will look for a heavier Pendleton blanket.

I love the pattern and colors of this wrap. It’s not as soft or thick as Pendleton blankets. It’s a perfect car blanket when traveling because of its lighter weight. I see myself bringing it in carry-on for air travel. It actually folds up fairly small. Just a little itchy so, less one star.

Beautiful!! A little too scratchy for my family’s tastes, so for the price point, I had to return it and get something more functional. But it’s beautiful.

You can never go wrong investing in a Pendleton throw or blanket. It’s one of those items your heirs will be fighting over.
