My Granddaughter turned 7 and this was the hit for the afternoon! She had a wonderful time getting familiar with it. Of course, I got the pink one. : 0) I didn't charge it before giving it to her, but the battery did have an hours' worth of play on it before we needed to put it up to charge. (I should have thought of that), so I can't comment on how long the battery will last. It sounded good enough for a 7 yr old! BUT, we did hook it up to a phone and played some music and was surprised at the quality of sound from the speaker. I do not yet know about the material quality. BUT, it feels good and looks good.

It's good for kids who want to play around and hear themself sing. My daughter has had an okay time with it. The synicing is easy. Only thing would be the feedback. She has a tendency to get a lot.

I did not purchase this item because something appears to be fishy. All of the reviews are posted within a few days of each other, there are 115 5 star reviews and nothing else (very unusual). When I looked through the reviews there are many many sentences that repeat or have one or two words changed from review to review. Buyer beware of the reviews if you are relying on these for purchase.
