Truth in Advertising Personified
In a world of hype advertising where what is claimed so often bears little resemblance to reality, this book (and specifically its book jacket) is a refreshing change. This book delivers exactly what the publisher says. And, delivers very well!I am a huge believer in the power of mentors, coaches, mastermind groups and the like. In my studies and interviews of peak performers from all walks of life, getting constructive help from others is very often cited as a key to a given peak performer's success. Now tons of books have been written on coaching, but there has heretofore been a dearth of books on masterminding. Authors Vitale and Hibbler have wonderfully filled this niche. They have written an interesting and valuable how-to book on assembling and maintaining an effective mastermind group. Especially valuable for the self-employed who are void of the valuable networking often provided by the traditional corporate workplace.Caveat emptor: If you looking for a deep psychological treatise on exactly how masterminding works neurologically, this is NOT the book. But, if you want a nuts and bolts guide to masterminding, this book rocks. Exactly as advertised by the publisher! How refreshing, and useful. We are the product of the half dozen people with whom we spend the most time. Assemble and maintain the right mastermind group and one can't help but to be more successful. This book will show you how to make that happen.

Great for remote sales professionals (among others)
As someone who has been home officed for more than 10 years now, I really appreciated this book. Most of us who have worked in corporate America have participated in mastermind groups (of varying value) internal to our companies - yes, I'm referring to staff meetings, weekly tags, etc. We tend to complain about having to attend these meetings (especially if they are not well run), but then once we are home-officed, we often miss the camaraderie.Meet and Grow Rich provides the perfect solution for the home officed professional - especially for those in remote locations far from the nearest company site. And, you just might find that a mastermind group of your choosing is more valuable and more productive than your average company meeting - especially if you use the extremely helpful information provided in this book by Bill & Joe.Sales people often feel more comfortable being open with sales people from companies selling complementary products as opposed to sales people in their own company who they may be competing with. This book will tell you how to find the right members for your group and how to have productive meetings that you will look forward to attending. Thanks Bill & Joe!

Meet & Grow Rich
Succeeding at work and life is not an easy task. Often it feels like it's you against the world. But, what would it be like if you had a support group that could advise, encourage and inspire you? What if this support group could help you focus on your goals and achieve them faster? Would you take advantage of such group, if existed? Napoleon Hill, the author of "Think and Grow Rich" has long advocated the use of "mastermind" group. It is a powerful alliance between people who help support and enlighten each other on the road to success. Even though this group usually concentrates on "wealth" and "financial freedom", it can be developed to focus on almost anything. This book shows how an effective mastermind group works. In addition, this complete resource includes tips and tactics from a long list of contributors, each with first hand knowledge on the subject. It is wise, witty and powerful. Digest this book and you will be able to create an effective mastermind group.

Mastermind yourself one step at a time
I met Bill Hibbler last night who along with Joe Vitale wrote Meet and Grow Rich a book about the inner workings of mastermind groups. I discussed with him my experiences with mastermind group. I had just finished reading his book the night before so it was fresh on my mind.He believes the best way to start a mastermind group is to find one person at a time. My experience shows that this is a good idea. Form a two person mastermind group and then look for a third that both of you agree on and build it up to six or eight people. The book is very good and if you are serious about masterminding you should read it.[...]

Not Flashy but Solid Information.
A helpful little book with tried and true advice on starting and running a Mastermind. Nothing amazing, but a good collection of common wisdom advice. The chapters contributed by others at the end are not nearly as helpful as the ones by the two main authors.

Nice Master Mind Guide.
Nice guide about Master MInd. Most of the chapters are interesting, but some of them are quite too short, like the lastone (just two pages!). In that case is much better to cut incomplete or few relevance stuff i in next editions.

ok
I am looking to start a Master Mind Group amongst co-workers, and was hoping this book would guide me. Not exactly what I wanted it to be, but still not a bad book

Excellent information
This is a very comprehensive analysis of Mastermind, in all forms. I personally felt well-informed by this book. It looked at different aspects of groups that could enhance your business acumen and progress thru the tricky minefield of growing your passion in all aspects of getting help. Thanks for the overview. And even the specifics. An excellent book.

Learn to share problems and solutions from other business owners
It's only in the last ten years that I have become aware of how powerful mastermind groups can be and this book is a raving endorsement for masterminds. The mastermind concept isn't that well known in the UK and "Think And Grow Rich" by Napoleon Hill doesn't have the great reputation it does in the USA.The authors want you to understand that a mastermind group can help you to achieve whatever you want to achieve. Life is tough to try to do everything on your own so if you lean on others for help and they lean on you, everyone can take a big step forward. This happens for a wide range of reasons ranging from the fact that it cracks the distorted perception of the world we each carry around through to getting ideas and feedback from people we trust to the special energy that comes from sparking ideas off each other. This is a very inspiring book to read because it makes anything and everything seem possible. It is split into two sections in its 203 pages of content. In the first part, the authors take you through the masterminding process and inspiring stories of how the masterminds have transformed people's well being. In the second part of the book - from page 111 onward, a series of successful people share their mastermind stories and ideas on what creates a good mastermind.Well worth reading if you are interested in joining or even starting a mastermind group.About my book reviews - My goal is to help you to find the best business advice. I aim to be a tough reviewer because the main cost of a book is not the money to buy it but the time needed to read it and absorb the key messages. 4 stars means this is a good to very good book.Paul Simister, a business coach who helps business owners who are stuck, get unstuck.

Lacking Resources
A little longer than needs to be to get the point across and I could not access the resources. I might be a little harsh as I run groups professionally.
