Hubby said they were very easy to put up and he loves the remote. he says the remote allows you to change the brightness. I like it too. they look very nice up and have had no problems.

Great set of LED lights for any use!Lightweight plastic bulbs allow for easy placement using the smallest 3M Command removable fasteners. Has four settings for brightness, a couple of 'useless' per-programmed flashing settings, but best feature is the 6 or 8 hour pre-programmed functions from the remote control. Lights come on and go off based on your selections. We love these lights!

I am very happy with these lights! There are about 12 inches (maybe a bit longer) between each bulb, which works great for stringing them on a large patio Fir tree, which is what I did. The bulbs are NOT GLASS, so you do not have to handle them with kid gloves when stringing. The BRIGHTNESS is ADJUSTABLE--25%, 50%, 75%, 100%....you get to decide the ambiance of your environment; I love this function so much!! There is a REMOTE that adjusts all settings: on/off, flickering or solid, brightness, etc. It is not necessary to be right near the outlet or plug to use the remote, as this remote will turn the lights on through closed patio doors....I mean, WHAT?!?!Another buyer's review stated that he's had these lights strung outside since 2019 and they are still going strong! Totally impressive!! Also, there is one extra bulb and a whole bunch of zip-ties included with the light set as well. Needless to say, I will be ordering again in the future. :D

Update June 2024: These lights have been hanging over our patio year round in Chicago since **June 2019** and are still going strong. We have not had to replace a single bulb, and the globes haven’t fogged. They’ve survived hail, a derecho, severe thunderstorms, subzero temps, and 60+ mph winds.Original Review 2020We purchased these lights over a year ago, and hung them over our patio using the Belio String Light Hanging Kit (highly recommend that kit!) available on Amazon. The lights are great and look just as good as the day we hung them 15months ago. We left them up over the Chicago winter and during severe thunderstorms, and all the bulbs still work perfectly.Before purchasing, I read other reviews that said the bulbs burn out quickly. We’ve not had one bulb burn out in 15 months of use, but we have had to tighten a few bulbs after winter, bad storms, or especially windy days. I think the vibration from the wind and/or the freeze-thaw cycle can loosen bulbs over time. Also, when screwing in bulbs before hanging the lights, it’s important to make sure the bulbs are screwed in all the way, which can take a bit of effort.The bulbs are plastic, so I don’t worry about them shattering during storms. Although they’re plastic, they look like glass to me, and they don’t fog up or become hazy. We get compliments all the time from friends and neighbors.I would recommend purchasing the Belio String Light Hanging Kit from Amazon. Hanging the lights on the cable keeps the weight and stress off the power cord.

These were super easy to hang up, came with zip ties, but I bought ceiling hooks. Remote is great so I can leave them plugged in and use them whenever I need! They are small, but give off great light!

I read a lot of reviews before we bought these. I decided we definitely didn't want glass bulbs on the patio. But I was worried that plastic bulbs would look cheap and give off a harsh light. The good reviews on this product convinced us to give them a try. They come packaged with the bulbs screwed into the wire strand. The instructions suggest unscrewing the bulbs before hanging the wiring and once hung, screw the bulbs in. While this is a bit of a pain, this made installation so much easier. As our plug was lower on the wall that the wire reached we used an extension cord and have not had any problems. The bulbs are not indestructible, but will bounce if dropped, possible dislodging the filament. It comes with 2 extra lights, and the instructions also tell you where you can order extra bulbs, but I haven't checked the website. The lights give off a nice glow and look great on my patio.

These lights are exactly what I wanted for my back patio. They are mid-way between white light and yellow light. They aren't so bright that they blind you, plus they have 4 levels of brightness so you can dim them way down if you want. The remote works even from inside the house - doesn't need to be "line of sight". The bulbs are plastic (but look like glass) so they won't break. Be sure to look at the photos and descriptions to find the length of cord that actually has bulbs. The first section of cord has no lights, which is perfect for running it to the outlet. I've only had these a couple weeks, so I'm not sure about longevity.
