We have one of these, purchased years ago in California, and family members have admired it. We've searched locally & not found them. At least you can purchase on Amazon and obtain from Germany. My only issue there is that they come in a box and were shipped in a jiffy envelope. From Germany to Utah is some travel time, and they were gifts. The boxes were a bit smashed which makes it appear to be a "used" gift, but nonetheless - those that receive it know how wonderful it is! So I give this a definite 10!! Keep that champagne fresh & bubbly! =)

We have been using this brand of champagne stopper for years. It is the best. I bought this one as a back-up, but it will probably remain in its box for a long time.

This is the second one I've purchased. It will be in reserve in case the first one purchased twenty years ago ever breaks.

Had one for years. I love it, I can tip the bottle or lay it flat and the stopper does not pop off or leak. However, they are CHROME PLATED. Big mistake. Chrome plated stainless. They should simply skip the chrome and go with the stainless because the chrome corrodes and rusts horribly. The inside of the arms on the stopper end up looking really nasty, like something you would not want anywhere near the neck of a bottle from which you pour champagne. I will, however, buy another and give them another chance. Maybe I can coat the inside of the arms with something to keep it from corroding.

I was so glad to find this champagne stopper as I have used an old one for years and it’s hands down the best champagne stopper on the market.

This is about my 7th stopper and it's certainly the most effective yet. I travel a great deal and this is the only one that has stayed in place and kept the contents fizzy. It was quite expensive but so is champagne and I got fed up with pouring up to half a bottle down the drain so I am really pleased this one works. Only downside is the increased height of the stopper which can be difficult to fit in some fridge doors, however it claims you can lay the bottle flat. I've not tried this yet.
