I used this to fix my number plates to my car, might seem weird however I needed to be able to remove them easily and quickly when doing a trackday. So far they've been on for a month and have held up well.

The Velcro pads are easy to cut with scissors and the adhesive pads are easy to peel/stick on. Depending of the plastic surface the adhesive may not work as expected. i.e. for the dashboard of your car, such as plastic leather surface, I had trouble getting it to stick on. In the end, I had to use double sided carpet tape to resolve my issue. However the adhesive does seem to work on flat plastic pretty well. The Velcro is very strong and holds better then the adhesive does. Always clean the surface and remove any polish/wax with meths to get the best adhesion.

Adhesive could be a bit stronger, but overall does a good job and is really easy to use. Would definitely recommend

So I needed to make a sanding block and wanted to avoid wrapping sandpaper around a block of wood. I had a nice block of Elm and cut it to size for hook and loop sandpaper. I used these self adhesive hook pads on the Elm block and simply applied the sandpaper.......a brilliant solution. It means I can start with a coarse grit and run through the grits to very fine (80 to 400) and change paper in about 2 seconds. I have used the block many many times and the pads have stayed in place and held the sandpaper perfectly. This is just one of hundreds of uses for these pads. Highly recommended.
