LB Jamison's Regular Soup Base, Chicken Flavored, 16-Ounce Jars (Pack of 6)

So this is a product I’ve used for years my favorite thing about it is that it’s shelf stable and you don’t have to put it in the refrigerator. I personally buy them in bulk six at a time because it’s cheaper and they last forever I also like to reuse the containers for many things. One jar usually last me six months or so with adding tablespoon to different items. Are use small amounts in vegetables especially if you have a picky eater it will definitely make it easier for them to eat items that they don’t generally enjoy. They also have beef ham and a cream sauce. I use the ham if I’m in a huge hurry and have to make dinner with beans and do not have time to fry bacon. The chicken is versatile and can be used in just about anything. All of the different ones are versatile and can be used in anything. Are use a fork to scrape a little bit off for added seasoning in things. There an absolute staple in must have in my spice cabinet.

This is a wonderful product. It has the most delightful chicken flavor. It is wonderful to use just as a hot drink. The Seller delivered product in a fast and efficient manner. A++++++ rating for the seller. This was a great transaction.

This is the best soup base I've ever used in my life. My local grocery store stopped selling it and I was very upset and felt distraught, literally. I then decided to looked it up on Amazon and was thrilled to find it. I will buy this for as long as I live on earth.

This is delicious in rice. I usually add a small spoonful to my pot of rice along with a touch of butter and it comes out with rice that is absolutely delicious all on its' own. Especially if you use par-boiled rice (which isn't so sticky and dry.)I love that there is no MSG as well. I used this stuff extensively when I was in Colorado, and once I moved and couldn't find it I was super thrilled to find it on Amazon! No other chicken bouillon even comes close. It's salty, but not horridly like the other bouillons out there. And it has a real good flavor mixed in with food. It's not perfect for actually making broth; but it's a good addition to what you are already making for flavor.

You might think you have to be a culinary professional to need 6 jars of soup base in your pantry, but you haven't tried Jamison's yet. My kids are carbovores and eat a diet of pasta and rice; I add a spoonful of Jamison's to the cooking liquid. I make soup from leftover meats and vegetables and always make my stock with this product. I have tried other brands when I couldn't find Jamison's, but none compare. When I could no longer find any merchant who carried this, I tried to get my local store to stock it, but had no luck. Once, when travelling, I saw Jamison's Soup Base on a grocery store shelf and grabbed several jars. Not wanting anyone to steal them from my luggage, I put them in my carry-on. Sadly, maddening-ly, airport security called the contents liquid (trust me, it's a powder) and wouldn't let me take it on board. I had to leave it behind. It makes me sad to remember that.I suppose you think that you will not use 6 jars of soup base, but you might, once you see how versatile it is. It will keep for, well, I don't know, but a long time, and the best part is that is will make several times over what a heavy, space-hogging can of chicken broth can produce. (you hate those heavy cans, don't you?)Happy cooking!

This is the best tasting chicken base over bullion or stock, it’s great when not feeling to good and want a hot cup of chicken broth. Absolutely delicious and great price. I have used up my last jar and it was way out dated and still taste awesome. Thanks bunches

Same review as with the beef flavor. I did not know until I received that it has MSG in it and I do not like that. I love the taste, but I wish you would change the ingredients and take out the MSG. Will still use what I have but very very sparingly and probably will not reorder.

Right now this is the best tasting chicken soup base available that I know of. Simply excellent. Cook up some egg noodles in a strong broth (I use way more than the directions say), drain, and butter generously. I've been addicted to them since I was a child.
