I had read reviews on this before purchasing and honestly was just hoping it was half as good as reported!I’d had problems with reducing nitrites in my tank even with following all general advice.I added these to my filter foam block and within 2 days my levels were within safe zone!I totally recommend this product

It filters stuff out of the water but not nitrates
I used 6 packs in my fluval 408 external filter and except making the water cloudy I've seen no benefit what do ever . I used it to the instructions rinsed them out before use and it's no better than any normal media in your filter ..

I Got a clear Crystal water
The media could not be loaded. I have a Fluval 10 gallon tank with two Gubbies; before using this nitrate filter, I struggled with yellow and dirty water that needed to be changed weekly. Now, using a Nitrate filter, the water stays clear and clean for more prolonged periods.
