Works good fairly clear screen
Works good fairly clear screen. Batteries don't last long if you use the built in flashlight. Just pop the batteries in and start using it, no waiting for a battery to charge. You have to put in a micro SD card or most of the features will not work. Card is NOT included. So you can not use the tool without making a trip to a store for a card. You get what you pay for I suppose. Directions are "so so"

Pretty good really.
Very nice for the money! It has limitations but is very useful. You must remain about 1.5in from your subject matter. You also will not get much turn angle due to the camera tip not bending. It's about the last three inches so you can't turn into an engine piston wall very well. You can still see a great deal better than without one though. Resolution is fair but not HD. Well worth the cash to look in places that are not easily accessible.

Lots of features that all work as advertised so far.
I've only had this for about a week now, and I'm very happy with it so far, especially for the price. It's got every feature that I saw in the wider-known name brands. It comes with a case, too, which I dont think was advertised (the case hinges won't last, I'm sure. I'm going to duct-tape that now. My only other complaint would be that it's hard to unscrew the flex shaft from the base - I almost needed channel-lock pliers. The screen resolution is fine for me. I used it outside in daylight to look under a car seat, and I was able to shade the screen and still see clearly - that was a big concern. Everything works as advertised so far. It's very light weight. I suppose that's a good thing, but it just doesnt feel like it's heavy-duty. I wouldnt expect it to work if I dropped it on concrete, but hopefully, I wont have to find out. If you are going to subject this to heavy use and abuse, I would probably go with something else. Personally, I've lusted after the Milwaukee tools version in Home Deport for years, but I'm glad I found this. It's got more features for 1/2 the price. If teh seller is readign this, you may want to add more keywords. I was searching for one of these cameras, and only stumbled across this listing long after I should've given up.

Works well with well lit area, but can't see !@#$ in dark areas, i.e. behind drywalls. The led light is just not powerful enough. I had read reviews similar to this, but thought I could still see some things. I think a secondary light source may be needed. GOing to keep because may be handy for other jobs later.

Has a Case!
I purchased this as a gift and almost didn't choose it because of the complaints about it not coming with a case. It came with a very nice case! I have several inspection scopes, all costing many times more than this one. I fired it up, to make sure it wasn't junk, and fell in love with it! I've been working with inspection scopes for decades and it can be very tricky to analyze what you're looking at. Color rendition helps a lot. This has better color rendition, and is sharper, than any of my scopes. There's a lot of complaints about focal length and illumination but this one is on par with my big name brand scopes. The gooseneck is very stiff and will hold any shape you bend it to. If I kept it for myself, I doubt my other scopes would ever be used again. The only improvement I would make would be a rechargeable lithium ion battery, but that would run the price up. My grandfather taught me to always look for the value. This is a great value!

Great inexpensive tool for the casual home owner.
Great inspection camera for the cost. Mine came in a solid plastic case, which is perfect for my situation, I could see though, if you were throwing it in a truck or van, that you'd want a padded case instead. This one just sits in my garage, so it's not a big deal. The picture is pretty good. I see what others here talk about for the lights, but given the size, the lights make sense. For some instances I take an LED headlamp and put it up to the hole (if it's big enough) to add extra surround light to see everything I want to see. It works for me.If you're looking for something around the house that you'll use maybe 4 times a year, this is a perfect investment. If you're looking for something to use for business use, you'll probably go with something not as inexpensive with more features.I haven't used the hook or magnet yet, but with only a 36" reach, I'm not aiming for it those to be anything I use much of.

Overall pretty good. Light is only good for near the car!era, not for seeing deep into walls or spaces. Symbols are not intuitive, but appear to work as needed. Comes with a case, so that was a nice surprise.

Like a can of worms
It serves the purpose quite well. Like a can of worms, it is a little difficult to get it back in the case when you are done using it.
