User Manual for Drivaid Digital Alcohol Analyzer It gives you a digital reading of your breath alcohol content and thus your possible concentration of intoxication, pls read the User Manual before use 1)Install 3 x 1.5V AAA Alkaline batteries into the battery compartment (only alkaline battery is suitable for Drivaid) 2)Wash your mouth with water before using. Abstain from smoking or drinking alcohol for at least 10 minutes. 3)Insert the provided blow tube into the gas inlet located on top of the LCD screen. 4)Pressing the START Key 2 seconds to turn on the power, sensor pre-heating will be activated for an approximate 20 seconds. "WAIT" turns on and "PH" flashes for 6 times and then start to counts down. 4.1If the machine has already turned on and at alcohol mode "ALC" Press once to activate sensor pre-heating, "Wait" turns on and"PH" flashes for 6 times and then start to counts down 5)When count down to zero, "BLOW" flashes with beep tone. It is ready to start the test. 6)Manual test: Press & hold the START Key, "BLOW" lights up and blow continuously through the blow tube for approximately 6 seconds. While blowing, a long beep will be heard and please keep blowing. When the beep tone stops, sampling finishes and a reading will be shown on the display immediately. i.A measurement of less than 0.10‰ BAC will show "0.00" ii.A measurement between 0.1‰ & 2.0‰ BAC, the digital display will be shown. iii.A measurement above 2.0‰ BAC, "HI" flashes on the display.
