BLACKHAWK First Responders Vest

I work off shore as a medic and have to take patients via helicopter. This allows me comfortably carry what I need on tight quaters. Also when I am walking the deck it keeps bistable to the crane operator and the divers can see me and know I am in charge. Very comfortable, better than my combat medic one. This vest allows for lots of movements if I have to move I tight spaces like a hyper baroc chamber. If I had even one problem with it it would be I wish they would integrate a harness so I don't have to wear a rescue harness to be lifted via helicopter.

I ordered the vest 1 week before (expedited delivery) and used it at the 25th Bataan Memorial Death March Marathon in southern NM (White Sands Missile Range) where it was used to facilitate the treatment of foot injuries on the runners. The individual pockets were the large enough to store and carry around the appropriate amount of dressing materials, medicants and tools without having to continually return to the supply depot to restock up on supplies. One situation continually occurred was that bulk packed non-sterile 4x4 dressings hung up on the velcro flaps, but this should be easily corrected by using individually packaged sterile dressings.

I am a flight nurse and this vest is just what I needed. I love the mesh, it is cooler and lighter
