I've had very good luck with LEXIVON tools, this LEXIVON 5/8" Swivel Magnetic Spark Plug Socket is no different. The value for money is great, the tool works exactly as expected.My only critique is that I think the magnet is too close to the opening. When looking at a particularly difficult to remove spark plug it appeared the socket had grabbed only slightly more than 1/2 of the available surface. That said, it did remove the 'stuck' plug, so it clearly got enough.Giving this 5 out of 5 stars as it works exactly as expected, is good quality, and good value.

I expected a rubber insert to hold the plug in place. To my surprise, it is magnetic, which is great, as rubber dries out and invariably starts to slip out of the socket after a few years. Shouldn't be a problem with this design.I own quit a bit of tools, as I was a diesel wrench. Fit and finish is as good as any of the premium tools I own. This is a thin wall design to get into tight spaces. The flex point has a nice firm spring in it to keep it in place when selecting an angle to insert the tool.While I would normally look for US made tools, that market is all but dead. The next best manufacturer IMO is Taiwan, which is where this is made. I own a few China made plug sockets from that Hbr Frt Tls joint, they are all crap. How do you make a socket where the very first plug going into it pulls the rubber insert out? Useless, returned, got another, same thing, just crap.I plan on using the tool this weekend, I will update this review if there is any reason to stay away from it....till then I strongly suspect that this was a great purchase/value.

Good tool. The magnet held the spark plugs very well. They were even a little hard to pull out of the socket after removing them from the engine, but I'm good with that if that means the plug doesn't drop into the spark plug well. Length of the extension worked well for a 2006 4Runner. I did add another extension for the back plug on the left (driver) side to make it even easier.

Bought this specific tool to do the plugs on my 2008 Toyota Tundra 4WD 5.7L engine. This tool is wonderful, went on the old plugs nice and smooth and the magnetic tip did EXACTLY what its SUPPOSED to do from plug one through 8. The swivel head function is sweet also. Bang for the buck -- this tool is the ticket.Ken

Socket has just the right depth for OE Denso spark plugs and attached extension has just the right length for a 2019 Tacoma. Magnet is also just right. No issues, worked as expected, would buy again.

I'm never going back to the OG spark plug socket with the rubber sleeve in them. This is by far much easier to use. The swivel is smooth and amazing finish. Buy it.

Needed something to help me change the spark plugs on my mower. This worked great!

Delivery was quick, used it right away to remove the spark plug on my 2005 Bombardier, 400 Outlander Max XT. It worked perfect, thanks to the swivel head, thin walled magnetic socket. It made it easier to get at the spark plug. ( It took longer to get the side panels off the ATV in order to expose the spark plug, than it did to change it)I bought both the 6" and 10" length just in case, both worked great.
