Poor quality but classic Estes launch setup
Launcher not functional upon arrival. This is the classic Estes launch pad & launcher. Cheapo quality but (usually) gets the job done. Should have been more like $15, not $24. It still wasn't even worth returning, since my kids were there waiting for us to launch our newly-constructed rocket...so I just clipped the wires and hot wired it to the 9v battery for launches. :)

Get a stronger launch battery pack.
Electric launcher is underwhelming. Does not work all the time, uses only one small 9 V battery needs to be perfectly new otherwise won't work. But even then won't work very well.
