I just siphoned 2.5 gallons from my 2017 GMC Sierra 2500 6.0L (gas) double cab with standard bed. The large feeder tube did not fit, but the small hose fed right in. The tank was 3/4 full to start and on an up slope driveway. It worked great, other than being really slow, but it is a small tube in order to get into the tank.

It works fine. Very slow though. I pour a lot of 5 gallon cans of gas into my boat. With this I no longer will have to stand and hold a can while pouring fuel. But that does come at a sacrifice. That is speed. I just started it going on on can and after a minute maybe 1/2 gallon had been siphoned. So I just came on back in the house and will let it do its thing and will go set it up on another can in a few minutes. If you are pressed for time, don't use this. If have time. That will get the job done.

Had a bunch of old gas in lawn tools and this worked great for siphoning the bad stuff out. I could have done it for much less money but this has several advantages that made me want it. First, use the hand pump bulb instead of sucking gas into the lungs. Then the filter to keep the destination from getting crud - I siphon into a clean reservoir and then put that, a gallon at a time, into nearly full car or truck tank to burn off the old stuff so the filter is important. Next is the case. I like that it is clean and keeps the hose clean. I don't want to end up using a shop-dirty hose for siphoning gas. All-in-all, this is a great tool for the home or pro shop.

I live in a rural area with limited resources. If there's an extended power outage and I run out of gas in my generator, I needed a way to pull gas from my vehicles if needed. I haven't had the need to actually use the device yet, but I was able to install the yellow funnel in my tank and was able to install the tube down inside so I feel comfortable that this will work when it's needed.I really like that the case is vapor-proof to keep the fumes at bay while stored in your vehicle. The components look of high quality and should last a while.

Great product. Well built. The brass connections to the bulb make this a solid siphon tool. No cheap parts here. The case is perfect which keeps the parts contained without being spread all over the place as compared to other units. Love the gas filter. Could use a stiffer tube on the source side so it would stay in the position in the source tank. I find that when siphoning from a generator, for example, to a storage can the tube moves around too much. My solution, tape or tie a paint stick (the kind you get at the big box stores) to the end of the tube. This keeps it in place better but still not 100%. Definitely would recommend this tool.

I fill up my vintage Studebaker with these, using non-ethanol gas. I could go to the gas station, but I prefer siphoning because it is relaxing and fun. Only minus is that you have to use care to avoid kinks when you put the hose back in the case. Also, I recommend using a small spring clamp to keep the hose from slipping out of the gas can. The case does a good job of sealing in the gas vapors.

She should list the makes models and years of cars it doesn't work with. It won't work on my car and I'm not sure about most cars but my car has a mesh screen at the bottom of the filler neck so you can't get the hose down into the tank to use this product.
