I don't know how I missed the reviews on this one.
My first mistake is that this item isn't able to be returned. My second mistake is that I have an otterbox case and the plug is too short. My third mistake is that the headphone side is a lightening connector and not a 3.5mm connector. My fourth mistake is that I ordered two of these so I just wasted $20. Ugh. Shame on me.

UNFORTUNATELY DOESN'T WORK / SIZE IS TOO GOOD TO BE TRUE
I have had this spliter for less than a month . The first week it worked but I did get notifications saying it wasn't compatible to my Iphone. I ignored it as it still charged my phone whole I listened to music at the same time. So now week 3 I still receive those notifications and I can no longer listen to music while it charges it can only be one at a time or neither. But I noticed the "music" port stopped working first. I tried switching and charging where the music icon is and vice versa but doesn't work. So not worth the money if it stops working after a month. It's too good to be true for such a small size which sucks because it's so much easier.

exactly what I needed, and a great price. it did break when I accidentally stepped on it, but I don't really blame the product for it. I went ahead and bought a new one right away, and that one has lasted me a while now

Worthless NOT RETURNABLE!!!!!!!!!
NOT RETURNABLE!!!!! It made me give a start they don't deserve. Don't spend your money if you have an iPhone. It's not compatible will not work with headphones.

DO NOT BUY IF YOU HAVE AN OTTER BOX CASE
Y’know how you’re here because you were searching for an item that will allow you to charge your phone & use headphones at the same time? Well I hope you don’t have a decent case on that crazy expensive phone because this won’t fit. I have an Otterbox & not one of the crazy I work construction and drop my phone from tall buildings Otterboxes either. Gets 3 stars because it is charging right now.

Doeasn't work every time.
**Update: It seems to work now. I'm not sure if it's intermittent or if I'm doing something from time to time to cause it not to work. I'll keep trying to see.**Followed the instructions of what order to attach them (honestly, why is that even a thing?) and got intermittent charging and no audio from the other side. Waste of money. At least they're returnable now.

Doesn't work!
I have an 8 plus and my phone immediately rejected this item saying the "accesory is not supported." This seller also doesn't offer reunds, so I had to contact support to get my money back. You need to get an adapter from Apple. I think whatever updates they've created are rejecting all 3rd party apps and devices now.
