It Works Well With Reasonable Maintenance
The Hudson trombone sprayer shoots spray much higher than the cheaper plastic pressure sprayer (up to 12 feet high or more) so I recommend this product if spraying trees or shrubs higher than 6 feet. The key is to evacuate any residue when you are done by spraying some clean water through it and lubricating the retracting arm on occasion. WD-40 does the job.

I'm using this for a spray and forget roof cleaning product, and for that it worked great. It has a reach that I could not get with my pump sprayer. It's a bit tricky to carry and hook a two gallon bucket on a ladder 8' in the air (you need that for the siphon) but that has nothing to do with the product. I can't wait to compete with my grandkid's supersoakers.

does not work
I used the sprayer once, it only reached about 14 feet. It was very hard to pump.I cleaned , lubed all parts before putting it away. When I went to use it again about a year later the sprayer fell apart.I called Hudson to get replacement parts and they stated the kit I need was $30 (with shipping) but they were not sure if all parts would fit the sprayer. Needless to say I am looking for another sprayer

Three Stars
This worked for two seasons. But now it won't. Are there replacement parts?
