Pricey but worth it!
I was hesitant in spending $100 on it but glad I did because it is Bery comfortable - a must have for people using a computer for long periods of time.Set up was easy and quality is good.

Good foot rest
It’s pretty good foot rest. I liked that it had the bar also but the bar isn’t the best. It probably can fall over if pressed hard but overall it works for me.

well made and durable
This arrived on time. Very well packaged. Very very easy to put together. We ordered this for my boss who has to wear an ankle boot for a while due to an injury. She can now sit at her desk with her ankle propped up when she wants and/or use the pivoting foot rest at the bottom. She loved it. No parts to break. This was well worth the money.

This is the best 'under desk' foot rest I've found!
I've purchased 2 other under desk foot rests. The ones that are all plastic, the wheels break under pressure. There's a metal one that slides on metal braces, doesn't break easy, but it's sometimes a problem to get it to lock in place. This one however, is a solid metal frame, with a padded tall part for putting your feet up level to your body and the footrest part has three height adjustments that are separate holders so you will lift the rest up to move it to another height...no slipping out of the opening! I've had this now for about 2 months and I love it as much as the day I got it in. It also has little raised nodules on the foot part so if you are barefoot or in socks you can massage your feet. I'm buying more of these as office gifts for friends.

meh
I needed something for under my desk and this was an answer because I like to put my legs up.Assembly: It came with some screws loose and just rattling around the box that I had to put back in. The rubber pad was loose. It doesn't fit together very well or easily.Comfort: Once properly put together its decently nice but I can't put my legs up for an extended period of time like I would like because the pad is thin and uncomfortable. putting my feel on the rest tends to push it around.Quality: The quality is very low for the price. The metal is thin. the pieces don't seem to fit together as well as they should. The foot rest feels flimsy and twists with just a little bit of pressure. The foam is hard and uncomfortable. The feet have good grip but are so small that it will slide around on a smooth surface.Overall I like using it more than I like not using it so it gets a 3/5 but I do not recommend it at all. It's JUST useful enough and returning it is JUST enough of a hassle to justify keeping it. I guess I'll try adding some padding and better feet...

Received a used one
The product itself is really nice. Easy to assemble and very well made. The only problem is that I received a used one. The box was already dirty and torn (I can see someone already opened it and taped it again), the rubber pads had some dirt and scar. I had to clean it as soon as I opened the box. As I ordered a similar, cheaper one and got a broken product before (I returned it and ordered this one again), I don't want to wait more, so I will keep it. Again, the quality of the product is good. But please DO NOT send the used one again to someone who already paid the full price. That feels really bad.

Use some Gorilla tape and it is great!
There are a lot of reviews about how the handle comes off... but I used a little Gorilla tape and it is fine. I really like this a lot. I bought a folding recliner chair to use as my ergonomic desk chair at home and this slides right under when not in use. The bar on top is the exact right height for putting my feet up and with the gorilla tape, an easy handle for moving it around. The 3 heights for the footrest are really good because I can move them up and down depending on the desk/chair combo I am using... I have a swing out arm for my monitor, kitchen table, and bike/standing desk... so this worked out really well. One footrest for wherever I am.

Uuuhhhh, NO
I chose this item after scouring through countless alternatives and reading way too many reviews. Quality is paramount to me and I don't hesitate to pay more to get the best, so I settled on this one thinking the considerably higher price point and mostly great reviews gave a reasonable assurance of quality and function, so I decided to bite the bullet and give it a go.Two days later, my excitement upon receipt quickly turned to utter disappointment when I put the item together. Both metal and plastic parts are sturdy and well made, and the product assembled in no time. All that was good. However, one of the sides connecting the top bar with the base didn't go all the way in and the fit was rather loose, causing that side to disconnect easily. Or more easily than the other side I should say, since both sides come off easily. Hm. I found this underwhelming because at this price point, I would have expected the parts to click into place. As it is the parts fit together through light pressure, which means the product cannot be picked up by the bar, gotta go all the way to the floor to pick it up and move it. Definitely did not love that fail but, had the item "worked" for me I would have just asked for a replacement. The deal breaker for me came when testing the item. I sit for 12+ hrs/ per day working from home, during which time I shift positions more often than normal people I guess, which includes some unconventional chair acrobatics at times. During testing today I was sitting with my right foot under my thigh and my left leg crossed over the right one below knee level, so I needed the bar support under my left ankle to maintain the position. However, the moment I rested my left ankle on the bar the whole contraption toppled over because the base is not weighted :((. That to me was unacceptable at this price point. I'm 5'2/ 125 lbs so my leg doesn't have far to go or that much weight to displace, so I'm pretty confident my size was not the issue. Perhaps it was just unfortunate that I happened to be sitting in the one strange position that the product couldn't support at testing time, but it was enough to dissuade me from keeping it.In conclusion, this being my first foot rest purchase and having gone back to look at other foot rests with a more discerning eye, I've learned a valuable lesson. None of the ones I see on Amazon are weighted at the bottom so they'll only support raised ankles in limited positions, making that feature marginally useful (for me at least). All things considered, I don't see anything in this product that sets it so far above the others to even remotely warrant the hefty price tag so, good build aside, I would not recommend it at this price point.Personally, I will keep the sturdy teak shower bench I currently have under my desk for when I need to rest my ankles ottoman-style, and just buy a regular foot rest at a fraction of the cost of this one for when my position of the moment involves both my feet on the ground :)).
