I liked the book, but the delivery person left the package out in the rain now the book wont stay closed due to it had been wet.

I LOVE HOW THIS BOOK DETAILS THE JOURNEY OF JUST AFTER A PET'S DIED & WHAT HAPPENS IMMEDIATELY AFTER, DURING, & UNTIL THE OWNER AND PET ARE REUNITED. I'VE LOST 4 PETS IN ABOUT 21 MONTHS. I LOST A CAT TO MOUTH CANCER UNDERNEATH THE TONGUE. I DIDN'T KNOW ABOUT IT UNTIL IT WAS TOO LATE. MEDICINE FOR HOSPICE CARE.'' a CAT I HAD FOR A WEEK THAT HAD FIV, A CAT THAT CAME INTO MY LIFE AFTER I LOST CAT WITH MOUTH CANCER, SHE DIED FROM FELINE LEUKEMIA. & NOW MY FIRST CAT I HAD IN YEARS. DIDN'T KNOW SHE WAS SICK AT ALL, MUCH LESS W/ SOMETHING THAT ESSENTIALLY KILLED HER. I NEVER KNEW OR WAS TOLD ABOUT IT. I LOVE AND MISS THEM ALL TERRIBLY. THIS BOOK IS VERY HEALING!

A gentle, non-religious, comforting and heart warming book. I suggest for all those sharing their lives with an animal, in preparation for that inevitable time comes, as well as those who have suffered the loss of a pet.

Our Biscuit was with us for over 9 beautiful years without a single health hitch. A visit to the vet for a fever and she was diagnosed with cancer and weeks to live. She died the very next day after seeing the vet. We were (and are still) heartbroken. This book, although short, is very sweet - and the message is clear. She is waiting for us on the Rainbow Bridge, and she will come home again.

I bought this for our family when our beloved dog passed away. It's been almost 2 years since he passed, and I still can't get through it without tears, but it's a beautiful book to read in remembrance. I hope he is waiting for me.
