Great for the price. Mid range quality. Provides a great workout.
I've used it for about a week now. Nice eliptical for the price. Very easy to construct and shouldn't take more than an hour & a half. If you own a small socket set with allen wrench attachments, it makes the job even faster as the provided tools can make things unnecessarily tedious. Just be sure to read the directions and not just look at the diagram (left side leg's bolt goes in counter clockwise ;) or else you'll end up ruining a thread by trying to force it through). However, I could do without the daily routine maintenance of re-tightening/lubricating screws/nuts to avoid the inevitable sqeaks and the slight knocking sounds caused by loose peices. Perhaps applying some Loctite on some of the non-rotating screws and between the thread & nuts of the bolts would fix this but I haven't tried it yet. If you're a shorter person like myself, be sure to maintain your positioning while using it as an eliptical and align the foot pads and yourself farther toward the back of the equipment or you'll destroy your knees by constantly bumping them against the arm bars with every stride. I like to work out without the fear of injury due to the equipment. The stride length is pretty short at 14 inches but that's fine and is balanced out because the resistance, even at a low to mid range setting, is for real which was a pleasant surprise. Definitely worth it for the price. Just be sure to pick up the 3 year warranty because even with just one week in, I have my suspicions about this thing's longevity.Overall, don't expect professional fitness center quality for $200 but you will get a great workout with this equipment at a great price.

Mostly like it; few drawbacks
Watching as the price has dropped more than $50 over the last month or so (ouch!), I would advise you to wait to buy this until right before Christmas if possible. (Update: Amazon customer service was able to offer compensation for this.) The unit is functional, quiet, and meets our needs. It's lightweight enough to move around easily; however, because it is so lightweight it wobbles back and forth with every stride when used as an elliptical (not when using as a bike). We've tried to reduce this by purchasing the mat, and it might be better over hardwood (we have a medium pile carpet underneath. In addition one of the rear end caps was broken on arrival and we have not been able to get a replacement yet. The customer service seemed kind of funny... The first time I called they had a phone message playing during business hours stating that they are closed and you should call back during business hours. I left a message and got no call back. They never responded (not even a confirmation) to my email. On my third try they did answer right away and quickly arranged to send out the part (apparently there was an issue with the server). All in all, we got what we wanted. P.S. Also be cautious if you've ever had knee surgery... start on the lowest or no resistance setting. The regular settings inflamed my husband's knee pretty badly.

Good workout for the money!
I bought this new from Amazon. I was a bit skeptical based on the low price, but figured it was worth a shot. I was pleased to have it arrive with no problems, and went to work putting it together. Note - most of it was assembled already, you just need to be able to use a hex wrench and screwdriver. I think it took about 30 minutes to install. It went together easily, and I was off and running. Well, ellipticalling. :)It's sturdy, well built, but not so heavy that you can't move it around as needed. There's numerous different programs for whatever type of activity you like - I prefer intervals, which thankfully is also there.I found it more comfortable to use it standing, though there's a seat for cycling if you prefer. I initially felt the stride was a bit shorter than I was used to at the gym, but of course, those are $10,000 machines, and this one is considerably cheaper. What I started noticing, however, was despite my feelings about the stride, I was ending up sweating more on *this* unit than I do at the gym. I actually started to look forward to my 30 minute sessions on this one.I had an equally good experience with their support team. I had a mechanical issue within my warranty period and they were super responsive and took care of my problem with no complaints or difficulty. I was thrilled to deal with a company that stands behind their product.

durable
I purchased a bodyrider 5 years ago. I use it 5 days a week often twice a day. I have been impressed with how durable it has been. I only have to oil the bolts about once a year, and that is an easy task. I called the service department once and found them to be accessible, courteous, and helpful. I am very pleased overall with the product and the service.

Not a great elliptical.
Not a great elliptical...not a great bike....The seat position is too far away to reach the handles comfortably (I am 6 foot). It is good for a light workout if it is raining or cold outside. I have not been able to break a serious sweat on it yet because it is not comfortable enough to stay on for longer than 30 minutes.

Trainer for all your needs
Came in on time. 2 parts missing. Had to order directly from company. I live in condo and UPS left it in foyer. Did not buzz me to let them upstairs. I called them & was told that "no signature was requred". On this expensive machine, it should have been requried. Had to get a couple of neighbors to bring it up. Love it overall. A lot of levels to set it at. Would recommend it.

Like this quite a bit
Like this quite a bit. It's sturdy. It was easy to put together. My only complaint is that the handle bars are in an uncomfortable position. I removed the elliptical handle bars and turned the bike handle bars upside down. Much better. I plan to use it as I recoup from knee surgery.

I'm a 26 year old female and I put it together easily by myself in about an hour and a half
Just came in this morning. I'm a 26 year old female and I put it together easily by myself in about an hour and a half. So far, so good. The foot pedals creak a little bit (the plastic doesn't seem so sturdy), but they're getting the job done. I'll update this after a few more uses.
