I'm fairly certain that the reviews that are included on this page are for a different product, which seems to be a multi-light kit which is ground-mounted. Bummer, because I bought this light based on excellent reviews which now I realize don't apply. I'll update this review once I receive the light.UPDATE: 12-30-14 I've been using this light for about a week now and it's doing the job I bought it for. I needed a worklight to install on a ten foot tall 4x4 post in front of an outdoor wood furnace that would only be used whenever I was actually working with the furnace.I started out on a bad foot- I unboxed everything and took it outside, and between the light kit and the tools I was going to use to install it with my hands were too full and I managed to drop the solar panel down about three steps. That didn't seem to do any hurt to it, however, after I mounted the light and the solar panel I was trying to adjust the panel to the optimum angle for sun exposure. Unfortunately, the panel only adjusts up and down- not left to right, which I didn't realize until I broke it trying to do the adjustment. I modified the mounting on the panel (screwed it to a small piece of plywood) and was able to go ahead and use it. Probably would have helped if I hadn't watched Mr. Bean just before starting the job :p (actually not kidding).I didn't fool too much with the time/light/sensitivity settings. Time is set about midway on the dial which is 3 or 4 minutes before it shuts back off (with no motion). It seems the motion sensor is more sensitive according to how well the batteries are charged. Where it's been clear all day it will activate the light with motion from about 40', on overcast days I have to get about ten feet away from it before it turns on. This is okay for what I use it for, I wouldn't like it much if I was using it for security- but to be fair the wood furnace itself is partially obstructing the sensor so that probably is having an effect also. Sensitivity and lux are set to minimum. I need the light at dusk and it wasn't going to come on unless lux was at minimum.The light itself is very bright, I have it pointed to shine into the furnace when the door is open and I can see everything perfectly, the light has a fairly large arc so it shines all around the furnace also. Also of note, we've gotten a lot of heavy rain since I installed it and that hasn't effected it as of yet. Overall this seems to have been a good purchase. I added a star to the original review (there was nothing to review at the time, I was trying to give folk a heads-up). I didn't give it five stars because of the solar panel adjustment issue. I think it broke too easily, otherwise left-right axis adjustment probably isn't that critical for this application.

1. No thinking going into the design. The screws to the mounting bracket are totally opposite of what they should be: instead of having a nut soldered to the bracket and the screws should be going in from the outside, they have it exactly the reverse. The problem is there's very little wiggle room for you to put a finger in to hold the screw. I finally gave up and just had one screw inserted.If you think about it, this light should probably be mounted somewhere a little bit up high, so it should be designed with that in mind and they should make it easy to mount it.2. The motion sensor doesn't work. Now I was forced to mount it low so that I can flip the switch and use it as a regular light.There's really no way that I can recommend this.

These lights really light up an area. The sensors work fine. The only problem I had was one of the timers was set more like 5 minutes at max instead of the 2 minutes specified - it took a while to get it set to the 1 minute I wanted (the other was fine with a center setting giving about 1 minute of light). That same one with the different timer had a slightly mislocated light grid that I was able to relocate to an acceptable location. I would recommend these to anyone that wants a bright light where there is no electricity available.

This light is OK .but it,not that bright

Transaction was flawless. Installation was easy. Light wasn't as bright as I would have hoped

I bought two. It is a bit awkward to setup. Tight construction. The plastic that has the screws is broken so the screws are all over inside of the box. And now one of the item is exhibiting problems. It keeps flickering, for about 5 minutes, when you it is on. I want to return it for a replacement but return/warranty is only 30 days from purchase.

Product works but the power cord was severed for some unknown reason upon open box.
