Mizuno Men's Wave Prophecy 7 Running Shoes

These were my second pair of Mizuno running shoes. Pros: Very light shoe, Strong stiff sole. Some running shoes feel like you're walking on a marshmallow to better absorb the shock of the pavement. Not these shoes. Like my first pair of Mizunos, initially it feels like you're walking on wooden boards. But then you start running and understand what they're all about- the kick they provide with each stride is phenomenal precisely because of that stiff "infinity" sole and insert. Great shoes for running in competitive events where shaving seconds off your time is important. Cons: Because of the stiffness, if you have weak or injury prone knees /ankles, probably not the best choice. They also run a bit narrow, so they need to stretch over a few weeks to feel comfortable. Also for whatever reason, the laces were too short to use in the anchoring loop around the topmost eyelet. Overall a top notch running shoe

I started out and bought the wave creation 19 last year on prime deals 10 1/2. They fit fine might have been just a bit snug in the width but are actually still very comfortable. I wanted another pair because since I was a kid you always have to have one pair set aside for good right? Anyway, i purchased at least 2 other pairs of wave creation 19/20's and they were all way too slim and sent them back! I tried 10 1/2 in wave prophecy 7 and they were too small also, primarily in the width. So I finally upped to size 11 and they fit very similar to the original wave create 19 pair except they are just a bit longer. It's not very noticeable and my foot is certainly not sliding around.The shoes are great once you figure out the sizing. I have NEVER had to size up unless they didn't offer 10 1/2. Not Nike, Adidas, Reebok, various other boots, or running shoes. If anything I have sized down in boots on occasion. But I do like the way the prophecy 7's feel. Just know you may need a larger than normal size.

These have been the best shoes that I have EVER owned, in my entire life. I ran track in highschool, D1 college, and continue to run post-collegiate, and through all the brands I have tried, my feet are screaming hallelujah with this.Impact reduction ✔️Arch support (I have a baby arch, not completely flat) ✔️Pronation control with it's solid midfoot support ✔️Environmental adaptability (I've put these shoes through the ringer with off road and road running, and it's saved me quite a few ankle sprains with it's solidness) ✔️LIGHTWEIGHT (am i running barefoot?) ✔️The biggest thing that I've noticed comparative to the other bigger ones like Asics and Nike is that my feet don't get tired. Before, I would have to stop from pain in my foot and just fatigue of those muscles working so hard to stabilize it, now? I could keep running for 7 miles non-stop and my feet don't hurt one bit.You are paying for quality.Q. U.A. L. I. T. Y!!! I'm considering buying another two or three pairs just to have them in case for some reason they stop making them, because I seriously cannot do without them. Thank you Mizuno.

By far the best shoe I have ever worn.

I bought these for my husband - his 4th pair (I have them, too). First, they look more black in the pictures but are more charcoal gray; a nice looking shoe. They always fit true to size for us; he's a 10 and I'm a 7. They take a while to break in, which seems unusual as most athletic shoes are comfy from day one. These are not "uncomfortable" when out of the box, but they are a bit stiff and feel kind of heavy at first. We walk about 2 miles up and down hills every day and it takes about 2 weeks before you realize they've broken in and are wonderful. They are more "firm" feeling than most running shoes but it isn't a hard feel, just not cushy. I think the holes between the shoe and sole are helpful in softening the blow of your foot on pavement. It's almost hard to describe how they feel when walking - we love them and have bought 7 pairs between us! Highly recommend!

My fiancé saw these at Runners Plus and they were $250, and they didn’t have his size and it couldn’t be ordered. (He has a rather large foot. Size 13.) Which thank goodness that was the case, because when we got home I found them on here for a $100 less and they had his size.They are the exact same ones from the store, and they fit just as expected. And...most tennis shoes look like skis on my baby’s feet being that they are so big, but these actually compliment his foot size quite well and actually make them look a lot smaller then they normally do.He absolutely loves the comfort of them, and they don’t hurt his feet after having them on all day, or after a hard workout at the gym. He hasn’t ran in them yet because it’s been too cold here, but he is definitely planning to.

I own the Prophecy 6 and for sure the 7 is more comfortable on hard surfaces.There is tightness in the fit that other reviewers have alluded to! This is because it has a ribbing structure which is not on the 6 and for that reason, it makes the shoe taut and hence the squeeze. Try one size up. the blistering phenomenon disappeared after bedding in. Its a very smart shoe. I have under 100km on Prophecy 6, however i naturally prefer the 7. Its awesome.The high visibility safety features are so advanced that there is nothing like them on the market. They glow in low light in a very cool way. awesome for that feature.

Just a fantastic shoe. Been wearing the prophecy line since it came out and they keep exceeding my expectations. Sturdy shoe that provides you with an instant morale boost. It’s hard to explain the magical powers that these shoes make you feel. A must by for treadmill runners!

Awesome shoe. Great for walking jogging. I have average sized feet but found these shoes alittle narrow. Not enough to be painful or uncomfortable but snug. Still an awesome shoe. A great buy
