Great Job!
There are a lot of very good books on product design, other very good books on manufacturing processes, and a lot others on engineering materials, but none that bridges convincingly across all the fields... until now! The authors have done a great job of showing the important stuff about manufacturing in a way that makes reading accessible to virtually everyone and still provide a great resource to students of both engineering and product design. I plan to recommend this book to my students of product development along with the traditional Ulrich & Eppinger's "product desgn and development".

Its hard to find good books on manufacturing processes that are actually useful and insightful, but this is one of them. The book provides a fresh approach to industrial design centered on really understanding the full potential of different ways of making things. Highly recommended for product designers, engineers, materials scientists and anyone interested in understanding manufacture.

Great visuals inside
Photography is great on this one, great if more detailed explanations were given as to how these items were made.
