WOW.. I'm IMPRESSED
17/10/20, Saturday.I have a 80GB HDD that is more than 15 years old. I used it in y old Windows XP pc. After a long time I tried to turn on that pc but it never turned on. So I tried to retrieve my files by any means. At that time I saw this product and ordered immediately. Delivery took 5 days only and worth it. Now about connecting the device. it is super easy.1.Connect the power supply to a plug point.2.Connect the 4 pin to adapter3.Connect the HDD to adapter(in my case it is a 40 pin IDE)4.Connect the USB to laptop or PC.5. Turn ON the ON/OFF switch in adapter6.Turn On the main power plugthat's it. It works like a charm. No need of any drivers. Does the job perfectly. I have another HDD to check. I believe that also work for sure. If your HDD is in bootable condition then it will work perfectly. Delivery is good. Packaging is also good. In this Covid-19 situation also their delivery is amazing. The delivery person maintained No Contact Delivery. Thanks to Amazon. And last but not least this is my very first order in Amazon. I'm fully satisfied with Amazon.

Works well..
Pro:1. Compatibility2. 3 in 1 connector3. Compact size4. Little costly but I was able to retrieve valuable data from 13 years old IDE hdd.Cons:1. Light weight, I doubt the durability.2. I believe life of this product will be less if used multiple times due to plastic boady.

Thank you!
First of all, thank you for placing this product available in Amazon. I was searching for the IDE to USB converter and I could not find it anywhere in local store. I had two IDE hard discs that was bought in 1998. I was able to get the data from those discs without any hurdle. It worked great!

Power adapter is not working
I just received my package (Nicely Packed) . When I connect power adapter to converter there is not RED Light indicating in converter, is this normal? or it shouldn't' blink?

One of the super quality product
I've just been impressed at the unboxing time itself. Great packing. The quality is just great. I got transfer speed max upto 180-190MBps with my toshiba 2TB sata HDD can't really believe that.(supports only upto 2TB)

did not power up for me
The USB cable was missing from the box. Also, more importantly, even after plugging it in, did not power up any of my disks. I tried a new adapter with the same configuration but still the same issue. Looks like the device itself is faulty.

Was not working and had to return
The product received was not working as expected. With 40 pin IDE hdd, it was sometimes able to showup the device and sometimes not. I am sure, but I think this multiple connection items would have corrupted by HDD and had to format it. I am nit sure if this is the whole reason because I have not used the HDD since 3 years.

Works great but a bit expensive.
Excellent product for anyone trying to recover old files from old hard drive. I had a 3.5inch ide with separate power to be recovered and this product came to rescue. Worked like a charm.Although the product feels a bit cheap, the plugs don't install smoothly for power to ide and into this box, but once it was done, it worked and that's what matters. Also tested a sata 3.5" HDD and could use that as well.I wish they had given info on jumper settings on the HDD to be same as before I.e in master and not slave. Also, these are on the higher side. Would had been happy to pay 700-800 max for these but unfortunately they are expensive for approx 1700 bucks..
