I can't yet speak to longevity as I just got it, but I did use it on y fine Eileen Fisher knits without problem and the shaver took off a very close fine layer of fuzz, better than expected. Why get THIS one? It has every possible feature offered in lint shavers: very comfortable to hold for extended periods, and lightweight too (ergonomic, they say); 6-blade shaver not 3 blade like some; 1 free extra replacement blade; 2 cleaning brushes; long charger cord; works WITHOUT the charger cord plugged in (yes, some of them need to STAY plugged in to a computer in order to function!); large shaving surface; large lint holder; easy to empty and clean lint from blade area; nice fitting blade cover for when not in use; nice large storage bag with drawstring handle; arrived fully charged; seller responded to email in 1 day.....did I miss anything? Mine was also the cheapest of all models with these features - although not a Prime seller, it got here in just a few days.

I had lots of sweaters, beautiful but covered in pilling. This shaver does a great job to remove all the fuzz, lint and pilling from the surface. Easy to use and clean out. The indicator shows battery status. Don't have to worry about the battery running low. It meets my needs. Say goodbye to lint!

I had this product for a month and it has stopped working. I loved it up until now when it broke. It will charge and it has been cleaned after every use but it will not turn on at all now

Great Product!! Worked for my pants and sweaters!! My sweater and my son’s pants had a few fuzzy spots. They're gone now!!! Love this wonderful shaver!!! Makes items look new again! This is a must-have!

All I can say is wow.

Very happy. Went for the six-blade vs. a 4-blade shaver. Good decision. It was an upgrade for me from my tiny $5.oo C-cell battery one to this. Leap of faith was worth it.Pros==========Takes snags off my golf shirts that are light-weight polyesters. These shirts are easy to snag. Shaver didn't pull threads and just snipped off the mini fuzz balls. You can hear when it "snips." (Well, at least I could).Rotates at a good rate. USB charge has 6 months so far. (haven't heard it slowing down -- so I can't tell yet exactly when to recharge.)Easy to empty. Haven't seen any fuzz hung up on the blades.Mine came with a nice cloth carrier which holds the shaver, USB cord, and spare bladesSolid feel. Plastic feels like a good grade.CONS===The adjustable dial control is a bit misleading. The blade doesn't move up or down. This dial thing only moves the dial away from the base. I took mine off for my golf shirts, etc. It snaps back on... maybe for big fuzz balls... not sure. But, haven't seen any difference with or without on the various other things I shaved (sweaters, pant legs, etc.)
