The thing I love most about this case was how slim it was. The G7 is already quite a large phone to fit into jeans so having a case this thin was great. I was worried though about its ability to protect my phone if I ever dropped it. The G7 has a glass front and back and I wanted to be sure they were protected. I had my phone for about 3 months before I finally dropped it from a pretty decent height. Instantly I was scared because it made a pretty decent crashing sound when I dropped it. Despite the drop, the phone had no damage whatsoever. I noticed a few days later however that the case had actually cracked near the top. In my book, the case did its job and sacrificed itself to protect my phone. I would have bought another one but I already have a thicker case that came with the phone when I bought it, so I decided to use that again.

Nice and thin, the texture threw me off at first but it helps you keep a really solid grip on the phone. The downfall is when you need to remove the case for any reason (to clean the phone, remove sim card, remove SD card, etc...). The tolerance is so tight and there is very little "give" to the case that you'll inadvertently form a crack on one of the bottom corners. Over time this crack will widen slightly and start pinching fabrics and getting threads stuck in them. It's not a deal breaker but it's definitely not ideal. You get what you pay for I guess.

I was looking for something to protect my phone while cutting down on bulk. It sustained a number of drops and kept it safe. Definitely cut down on bulk in my pockets, however the lack of a raised bezel left my screen unprotected and a drop that my bulkier case would've most likely protected, broke the bottom right corner of my screen, even with a glass screen protector. In it's defense it fell straight down and hit the most venerable spot on the entire phone. Overall it does it's job, but if you're looking for better protection I would skip this one. Most likely it will just protect from scratches, but won't do much against drops that the phone wouldn't be safe from on it's on. It also allows a lot of dirt buildup behind the case even though the fit seems really good. It's good for day to day and office life, but for more active people I would recommend something else.

What I like is it is slender and looks nice. Dislike is the color is starting to wear off on the front corners already and has been 1 week. I ordered a red one and is due here tonight. I may need to send it back ..... Knowing the color wears.

So I ordered satin finish which appears to be just an add on satin spray to a bright metallic cover. It is not solid satin and the satin spray is leaking from the cover and look horrible. As far as the case goes it fits well and functions accordingly. I would not purchase this item if you want a satin finish.

Love this case. I drop my phone quite a lot so I wasn't sure if this was going to match my needs but so far I've had no problems. Its super thin and light weight which is great because I have tinny pockets and don't like the extra weight some other cases add. The case itself is plastic but not the typical smooth plastic I was expecting. Its almost a matte surface with tinny bumps on its back (I assume to keep it from sliding off things) which I was able to attach an adhesive ring stand to. This coupled with a glass screen protector for my front screen and my camera lenses work great for me.

Just what I was looking for. Very Slim case that does not feel slippery. Has a textured back that is non-slippery. This is a 1 piece case, but works perfect. Best case I've ever purchased.Probably want protect from a long fall, but I've never dropped a phone. I was looking for something slim and comfortable. This fits my need.

I just received the Green Gravel phone case for my LG G7 Thinq. It's a metallic green color and fits nicely on the phone - very thin and doesn't add much bulk at all. I like the case all except for the feel. It has an odd plastic gritty sandpaper like feel to it (hence "gravel"). I wouldn't buy the gravel case again, instead I would go for the smooth case.

Case is very slim, as i was used to my old one which was bigger. Fit its perfect and i like very much the colour. Price is decent as well.I deffinetly recommed it if you are bored of your old case.Cheers

I replaced a Rinke Air case with this, as I wanted something slimmer, and a better texture. I found the previous case was a little too thick for my taste, and swiping from the edges was a little difficult. With the new case, my finger sits perfectly on the edge for swiping, although there is still a tiny edge to it, so you can place the phone face down without it scratching the screen. It's also a good deal thinner than the other case, so just feels more like a skin, than a case. I also like the speckled design/texture; it doesn't feel like it will slip from my hand.I can't speak to the durability / drop rating, as I never drop my phone. But then, I didn't buy it for that purpose.Finally, it works perfectly fine with wireless chargers

I've had my LG G7 phone for just under two years. I recently ordered my third one of these cases.I love it, and I'll keep buying them, but they generally need replacement after about 8 months. The main thing for me is the button cover on the power button wears out and breaks off, but that's the one that gets used many times a day. The case itself tends to get chipped and crack over time, but that's mainly because it's doing it's job and protecting the phone. Overall I love it!

This is an average phone case, visually I found it appealing and it felt good in my hands but it is not very durable. Within one drop the corners were already starting to fall apart so the material used is clearly very cheap. At one point I dropped my phone from knee height onto some stairs and the glass on the back of my phone actually cracked even with the case on. If you are looking for a phone case that is protective when you drop your phone, this is not the case for you

Horrible granular texture & very poor surfacing. This is actually clear transparent plastics that have been painted over. Scratches show through, and it scatches easily. I bought a green and a white version. The latter has a smoother finish but is of same poor construction. Wont ever buy again.
