Great for floating floor. Very good value.
Very easy to lay. Makes floor sound great even on floating installation. Would absolutely recommend this product to anyone installing a wood or laminate floor.

Cheap price, decent quality
This underlayment worked well and was a decent price. It is extremely light and thin, compared to some other brands "premium underlayment". While that isn't necessarily a big negative, you get what you pay for. For our use, we releveled the concrete and have very minimal imperfections to cover up, and this works decently as an acoustical deadener.

Okay, but there's better options -- Updated
I purchased 800 sq ft of this product for a renovation I've been doing at my house. The project quickly grew to an additional 800 sq ft and since I didn't have a chance to order another batch of this product I went to Lowes and grabbed their higher end blue hawk (blue color) underlayment. The difference between this product and the blue hawk was night and day! The blue hawk was easier to work with, offered a better sound dampening, and a better feel. Price per roll is about $5 more per roll and about the same if you find a Lowes 10% off coupon.I wanted to like this product, but after seeing another product that cost approximately the same cost I realized I needed to post this review and at least share my opinion.UPDATENow that the floor has been down for a while I've had a chance to compare to two different underlayments mentioned above. Although my wife still prefers the rooms where we used the thicker underlayment from Lowes I've had a change of heart. The Floor Muffler seems to have a much more solid feel compared to the "sponginess" of the blue underlayment. Regardless both options are great and I'm not dissatisfied with either one.

What a difference!
When it came time to put down my new hardwood floors, I planked a "test room" to see how I'd like the look... and was immediately confronted with the noise that echoed out of the floor with every step. Unless I was in sock-feet, it was driving me crazy, and I scoured the internet looking for a solution. Floor Muffler kept popping up and was heaped with praise, so I took a chance. What a difference! The noise is still there, of course, but it's more a muffled "click" than an annoying "CLACK CLACK CLACK." So up came the paper barrier I was using, and I installed Floor Muffler in every room. I was going to take a star off because the material doesn't roll out perfectly straight... it has a slight curve to it that you have to accommodate... but I love the way it works so much that it's getting a five-star review.

Good but there are better
This is a good underlayment for laminate floors. The best one is blue with foil water proofing on one side. The blue one costs just a little bit more but well worth it.

Right price
Not the easiest to work with on concrete floor, or for one man project. Good end result for the price point.
