Q: Can I thin to use with a sprayer?

Aqua Lock Plus applies easily with a quality brush, roller, airless, HVLP or conventional spray methods. If applying by airless sprayer, it is recommended to use a unit with a minimum of 2000 PSI of pressure with a 0.017 – 0.021 fluid spray tip. When applying by airless sprayer, it is recommended that the surface area should be back-rolled/brushed to insure proper adhesion, even application and effectively work primer into surface pores. Aqua Lock Plus is a 100% acrylic primer that provides excellent adhesion to a variety of interior & exterior surfaces however, this Primer is not to be thinned.

Q: Can this be used on Polycarbonate ?

Will go on but will scratch off when scraped. There are flexible primers used for auto bumpers.

Q: Can aqua lock be applied to damp masonry?

Aqua Lock Plus is recommend for use on drywall, plaster, acoustical tile, wood trim & doors, formica, ceramic, glossy surfaces, PVC, wood siding, fences, trim, shutters, tannin-rich woods such as cedar & redwood, masonry walls, stucco, concrete, cement block, galvanized metal.

Q: I see that it is recommended for kitchen cabinets. But If it drys in just 1 hour, can it properly level to a smooth finish in that short time?

Hello, Dry Time at 77 °F (25 °C) at 50% RH is Tack Free 30 Minutes, to Recoat is 1 Hour, to Cure is 3 to 4 Days. Please keep in mind that high humidity and cool temperatures will result in longer dry, recoat and service times.
