Works, but the snap-ring provided is a different style than pictured and was harder to operate, even with snap-ring plyers which made installation a bit more difficult.

Low quality retaining ring
The retaining ring has very little elasticity and deforms easily. I bought a new retaining ring at Ace Hardware which worked perfectly. The magnet fit exactly as expected and the unit works great.

Fits Tusk Rotor on 2017 KTM 300 XC-W
Worked perfect with a Tusk Rotor on a 2017 KTM 300 XC-W. I tossed out the old bent rotor with the speedo magnet in it on accident. This was just what I needed to make the speedo and hour meter work again.

Cheap. Doesn’t look like the first few pictures.
Mine is very cheap and looks nothing like OEM or the first pictures on the advertisement. If you scroll through the pictures they do show a matching item. I did not notice this at the time of purchase.I would not buy this again, I would buy OEM KTM. The clip is very cheap, not easy to use and bent during assembly using proper tools. The magnet itself is smaller than the OEM hole and wiggles. The fit and finish are poor. This may be a counterfeit copy. I’m not sure how long it will last. I’m disappointed with fit finish and quality for the price. Mine doesn’t seem like Enduro engineering quality and nowhere near KTM. You really need to start looking at the vendors and all of the images these days.
