Don’t buy this if you need a pad
Don’t buy this if you actually need a PAD to cover an incision site. This is not a pad, it is a less durable sponge type item (see a picture of both that I bought expecting the pad to be different - the sponge is actually thicker). The pads I had from CVS that I ran out of where actual pads without grates that were soft and durable for my wound. This is unusable!

useful, but these are NOT non-stick
These pads are rather thin, and they are NOT non-stick. Despite that, I've found uses for them such as cleaning wounds, forming pads between toes or fingers, and absorbing blood when a wound is bleeding too much for a non-stick pad.

Adequate, But Could Be Better
These gauze pads are a decent option for basic wound care, offering the sterility you need for minor cuts and scrapes. However, they fall a bit short in a couple of key areas, which is why I'm giving them 3 stars. The biggest issue I have is the thickness of the pads. They are noticeably thinner than other gauze pads I've used in the past. This means they don't absorb as much fluid, and you might need to use multiple pads to effectively cover and protect a wound. For smaller, drier wounds, they're perfectly fine, but for anything with significant drainage, be prepared to use more.Another factor is the price relative to the quantity. While the pads are sterile, the amount you get for the price feels a little underwhelming compared to similar products on the market. You might find yourself going through these fairly quickly, especially if you're dealing with wounds requiring more absorbent coverage.Overall, these gauze pads are okay. They are sterile and suitable for minor wound care. But the thinness and the cost per pad make them a less attractive option compared to alternatives that offer better absorbency and value. If you need a basic, sterile pad and aren't dealing with heavily draining wounds, these will do. But if you require more absorbency or are looking for the best bang for your buck, you might want to consider other options.
