Does a great job
This seed sprouter is the most efficient and least troublesome sprouter I have ever had. It is easy to "plant," easy to water, and easy to clean. I get mung bean sprouts in two days. I do need to cover the cover with something dark to prevent leaf formation.

Great Item
This is much larger than I thought it would be but seems well constructed and thought out. Easy to clean and easy to use for sprouting seeds. Personally I'd like one about half this size as I don't do a lot at one time. But I got what I ordered, the price was very good and it's a great product so I recommend it.

Works great!
Product works well. Was hoping all the holes are the small ones instead. But still great as is. Some paper towel helps to hold the seeds from falling.

Great idea but needs improvement
The small holes in half of the tray are too large, small seeds, like alfalfa drop through. There also needs to be a real divider between the large hole side and smaller hole side, as it's just a small lip and it make it impossible to rinse the smaller seeds without them getting mixed up on the large hole side. This divider plastic needs to come up at least 1/2", better still would be 3/4" to 1".The concept works pretty good: air is drawn up from slots in the lower tray holding water and the air flows up with moist, evaporative air through a large slot in the middle handle. Problem is, the corners don't seem to get enough moist air so growth is less than large middle oval area. Rinsing at least once a day would likely improve this but it gets back to problem one above. After a while the seeds grow and the roots are drown towards the water in the bottom tray; it's a great concept but then the sprouts begin to be impossible to get out without breaking the tops off the root stem. I may try putting some type of cloth over the whole tray and dedicate one tray to small seed and one tray to larger seeds. Then I may drill some holes one of the lids in the corners to see if it improves the moist air moving up in the corners too.Again, it's a great concept that I don't recall reading about on the product page but I went about three days without rinsing just to see what happened. I did have a mold problem about the forth day. Next time I try I will likely at least rinse once a day and faithfully change the water in the bottom twice a day. But that's another problem where do you put the inner tray when you pour out the old water, wash/rinse the lower tray. I don't like to contaminate the inner tray by putting it on the counter. So, it's got me thinking on how to improve on the concepts and maybe see better results.

TWO sizes of holes - not one
This description needs to be changed. It seems okay if you're looking for a tray with two different size holes, but I was expecting it to be ALL extra small, so half of it is useless for broccoli seeds. Not sure it would have worked in any case as they fit so tightly in the holes they didn't fall through. I am returning it.

It works!!!
I like the product coz the mung beans sprouted well and the container was big enough to contain all of them. It's easy to clean and remove the sprouts, and overall, very simple to use.
