Mine didn't come synced, but it was easy to do once I realized it using the butter knife approach in the instructions. The range is enough I can keep the alarm in my room if I want - I keep in the hall between our rooms instead. But it does have a decent range. We're still having almost nightly bedwetting, but it's a bit before it's detected and he's woken rather than soaked repeatedly all night. And we're down to 0-1 incidents per night instead of 2-3. We've only been using about a week, and it's for an intellectually disabled child with a lot of trauma, so I'd expect it will take us longer than average. I'm content with the purchase at this point. We bought the underwear, but if I could go back, I wouldn't bother. We've just been putting them in regular underwear instead.

I love that there are no wires bothering my son as he sleeps! And we are able to place the alarm far enough away from the bed he’s sleeping in (to force him out of his deep sleep & make him actually exit the bed in order to turn it off and go pee in the toilet), so there’s a nice range. I could keep the alarm in my room if I want because of the vast range capabilities. I did have issues with the alarm going off when my son wasn’t even wet “down there”, a couple times (it could have been sweat but I checked him & he didn’t really seem sweaty at the time, so not sure) but I called Customer Service to explain that to them and they just shipped out a replacement at no cost to me. Great Customer Service! And the new one I received is working well now. We're still having almost nightly bedwetting, but instead of emptying 100% of his bladder, with these alarm-underwear, it’s maybe just 10% now, then the alarm gets him up then empties the rest of his bladder in the toilet. And I did put a pull-up on him also..overtop of the undies.. to save me having to wash sheets so often, until he improves. I think it’s going to take some time .. but there is already some improvement since he HAS woken up dry on occasion which didn’t occur before buying these.

Four stars because the product works and is good quality, it just hasn’t fixed the problem yet. This alarm is just like any other we’ve tried minus the pesky wires, which is my child’s favorite part. Two weeks into using the alarm and I feel as though the amount of bedwetting has only increased. We will continue to use DryBuddy and update if it ends up being the answer to our prayers like we had hoped.

The first sensor that was sent was faulty...it ended up going off randomly. I spoke with a customer service rep who talked me through different things it could be. After trying different things this sensor was still alarming randomly. The second sensor they sent was delayed for shipping (only sent after I emailed) and didn’t work...this time it would only alarm after my son was saturated. They told me to change the batteries or send it back so they could assess what was wrong. Since I had already changed the batteries multiple times I requested a full refund but they will only refund me after I send everything back but want me to pay for shipping. I ordered this in July and now school is starting and we still don’t have a system that works.

This product has worked well for us. Not an overnight miracle or anything but with patience and an added bed pad for the occasional accidents, it is showing results. Slow and steady will win this race!

Easy to use, with or without the provided underwear. The customer service was superb.
