How to Use it? Firmly hold onto the easy grip handle (left or right hand) and set the rubber base on a sturdy surface. Set the heel of the knife between the 6 sharpening blades. Apply pressure and draw it through the 6 blades. Repeat this step several times for effective results. Concentrate on the tip of the knife's cutting edge, as this part of the knife is likely blunter due to frequent use. Lastly for honing/smoothing the blade's cutting edge, apply less pressure when pulling the knife through the 6 high carbon steel washers.

Medeocre product
I bought two similar items from different makers and this particular one is awful, sharpenung wheels are too wobbly. It does not sharpen and metal on the flimsy side. The other one I bought, works amazingly, I will order one more from the other maker "BOJ" and try to get my money back on this one.Update 8/20/19 Maybe mine was just deffective, I received my refund

Very good product
Does what it is supposed to do well and fast. Needs a small plate (1-2 inches) attached transversely to the handle (using the existing holes and a screw) in order to improve stability when sharpening.
