Terrible story, lackluster illustrations
We have the Griswald the Gnome book and enjoyed that so much (great stories filled with lessons), that we thought we’d give this a try. The illustrations seem to just blend all together and the story is just awful. I wouldn’t recommend this book at all. There are more empowering and smart books out there.

Not worth it
Really really wanted to love this as I love her artwork so much and it was purchased for my daughter Lilly but... The story is very bland and uninspired. Just quite boring. So disappointing.

Short Read
An easy, short read... it is very adorable! I bought it for a young girl named Lily that I babysit, she loves it and reads it every night!

We are giving this as a gift for the flower girl (whose name is Lily) who is standing up for my daughters wedding. I did read the story and it is very cute. Sure she is going to love it.

Beautiful Picture Book!
Both of my daughters love this book and it has become one of our favourites. This book is beautifully illustrated with a very simple story.

A lovely book
This is a magical book,that is beautifully illustrated,in gentle watercolours.The details,of woodland flowers,trees and creatures are superb.Every page is a joy to observe and the story is so gentle ,with a happy-ever-after ending.I bought this for a new born,named Lily and know she will love it.I am delighted with this good quality book,that was so inexpensive. Perfect in every way!!
