How to Build Dream Cars with LEGO Bricks [Print Replica] Kindle Edition

This is a Fantastic book for Lego sports car fans. I bought this for my 10 year old son and he loves it! It has printed instructions for the vehicles and a QR code to scan for a digital download file of the builds and a video of the build. For every vehicle there is a wonderful detailed history of the real dream car including: years produced, numbers made, original cost, current market value, dimensions, weight, power and engine specifications and a full page picture of the real car. The Lego build section includes a picture of the fully built dream car, picture parts list and a level of difficulty (1-3 bricks) and the step-by-step instructions of the build and a "Alternative Versions" sections for modification for that build. There are 12 vehicles included plus a "Custom Wheels and Rims" section. The cars progress in order of level of difficulty from easiest to hardest. There are 3 level 1 brick builds, 6 level 2 brick builds and 3 level 3 brick builds. My son built the Lamborghini the day we received the book. My three boys have an extensive collection of Legos/parts but most of the parts used for these builds are fairly common. If you need parts you can purchase individual parts from several places listed in the book (Shop.lego.com, eBay, Brick Owl, Brick Link). The majority of the time needed was spent searching for the parts in the color scheme he wanted. The builds will not fit mini figures without some major modifications but the builds themselves are super detailed and worth the purchase. It also inspires the builder to try this techniques with other builds, adding to the skill repertoire. We highly recommend it for any Lego enthusiast and are hoping for a second book of vehicles!

It's a good book however a lot of the pieces are extremely hard to come buy. You have to go off of a picture. There is no part number or description of pieces. I have been on two websites that are written in the book to be able to get pieces but you still can't find some. I have also looked on eBay which so far has been where I have been able to locate. I do know some of the pieces are now no longer available and discontinued.

Cool cars with detailed instructions. However, about 30% of the pieces needed are not sold on LEGO.com making all the builds impossible

Awesome book! Great quality, step by step instructions with amazing colored pictures on every page. Definitely worth every penny and more. I'm surprised it cost so little for what all you get.

Ok book. Will enjoy building with my boy. Only gripe. There is pieces missing from the parts list on at least the Shelby cobra. It’s obvious too. With just a glance at the parts list and first two pages of instruction, there are two unmentioned pieces. Although if you scan the QR code it provides all the parts and the part numbers.

My grandson loved it.

Heavy duty book. Tons of ideas in it great for the Lego builder.

Quality is very average for the price, pages stuck in the middle and the pictures of the cars are in a double page but because the pages are stuck in the middle you can't open the book wide enough to see the full picture of the model you want to build. Instructions are clear and easy to follow. Overall ok book but i think too expensive for the quality

This book is beautiful and my 7 year old, supercar fan was over the moon with it. It’s a bit pricey, full price, but I got a cheaper warehouse deal (a crease on the cover). It’s almost worth the money just for the super car photograpy. We haven’t made any of the cars yet but looking forward to doing so.
