Excelent coffee!
First test of this filter and the results seem very good! The filter is fine enough for a clean cup, without leaving any residue at the bottom of the cup, using a normal (medium-fine) grind, while still allowing for a bit of "body"/oils that are otherwise removed when using paper filters. As for longevity only time will tell, but it seems well built. will update review if it fails unexpectedly,3 month update:After using this filter as well as hario paper filters almost daily, with reasonably good coffee, I have to say I really prefer it over the paper ones (like hario). The simple reason is that the coffee is has slightly more body to it, which makes it that more enjoyable. If only it didn't need to be cleaned... ;)

Excellent value for money.
Easy to use, cleaning a little fiddly until you get used to best way to scrape old coffee grounds out. Has been used over and over again and still going strong. Great price especially compared to disposable ones.

Disappointed
Sorry to say I don't find this as good a paper filters. It doesn't cling to sides of plastic filter cup and therefore doesn't filter as successfully. I find it tends to clog. Regretfully I will be returning to papers.

Great product and eco-friendly
The product arrived in perfect time, exactly when expected and it works perfectly. It makes great coffee and it is easy to clean. It can even be cleaned in the dishwasher. It allows me to stop wasting so much paper in mono-use filters. Super happy, even if I reserve any future comments since I have used it only a few days now. But, so far so good!

Cleaner coffee taste & no waste
This product exceeds expectations. Coffee drips thro a bit faster than paper but taste is cleaner & not weaker. I love the fact I'm not throwing filter papers in the food waste.

Finer mesh and more like paper than many others! Still going, saving money and trees.
Always there, can't run out of filters, good for the environment. Requires cleaning but I just flick the outside with my finger to knock the used grounds into a compostible plastic bag and rinse the small smount of remnants away with water and a finger the next morning. It may not filter as quickly but that means your coffee is brewing more anyway. This is also because it's a much finer mesh than most options, like the paper it replaces and so doesn't let any chalkiness through (if you like that, then consider a press?). Before I got a finer grinder I used to run the coffee through twice anyway whilst doing other things. I like strong coffee though and also add instant and frothy milk for the perfect cup. Love this product! Don't run coffee with instant in it through though as that takes forever to filter for some reason.

Disappointing, hard to clean
I so wanted this product to work as we make pour over coffee most days. Sadly the filter was tricky to clean fully. I tried various ways including using the dishwasher. In the end, the filter developed holes and cracks so it has gone in the bin. Not a great product.

Avoid
10/21 Update:It hasn’t even lasted a year of daily use - now the filter has tiny holes all on the sides of the filter, which is letting coffee granules through when it is filled up. The coffee filter is also completely mangled to the point where it was becoming unusable anyway. Think we will be sticking with paper filters over this nonsense.06/21 Update:After several months of use, the coffee the filter produces is now much better and not as much coffee needs to be used. However, after daily washes and 2 or 3 dishwasher cycles, the V60 has essentially crumpled in on itself and is distorted, but also has what appear to be a few holes/sharp spots. Not entirely sure how to get it back to its former shape, and also not sure if it will eventually break.Original Review:Works fine, and surprisingly easy to clean (although as others have said, the last few bits will have to go down the sink to get it completley clean), but I find that the water travels through it too quickly, which results in a weaker coffee when compared to a normal paper V60 filter. You therefore need to add more coffee to filter to get a similar level of strength.Factoring in the price, I figure it is about 200 uses before you begin to save money over buying paper filters, but considering coffee is the more expensive thing, if you're looking to save money by doing this I doubt you would.
