Disappointed
On average, I use earphones at least an hour a day. I have gone through my fair share of earphones over the years. That being said, these may be the worst that I have used to date. I don't know if it was a mismatch between my phone and the earphones or if they're just naturally built to be so glitchy, but there was not a single day that I did not have trouble with them. Some days, they would play and pause music entirely on their own, activating my phone's voice command feature sporadically. Some days, I would have to plug/unplug them three times before they played my music clearly. Now - a little over a month after buying them - I have to hold my phone at a precise angle to get music to play out of the right earphone at all.I was hoping that these earphones would last me longer, as they seemed to receive great reviews and were described as being high quality. Unfortunately, it looks like I am now in the market for yet another pair.

I used them everyday even though they were not great. I have a few suggestions
I used them everyday even though they were not great. I have a few suggestions.... First the point where the headphone cord goes from being one wire and becomes two wires is too short. Not in a way that impairs use, its just a little high. Next, I migrated from Apple to Samsung and I am used to the functionality of the Apple headphones. These headphones have no volume function or skip-track-back function. Third and final, they are broken and I bought them in September..... Its December... I am not the most careful with them but I have had these 5$ JVC headphones from BestBuy for like 2 years and they have not failed.... #OBAMACARE

Good Sound, not very durable
This is my second pair of Audist headphones; the first lasted a year. IThey fit well, and for the price, the sound is pretty good. Bought these second one in April 2016; use them every day primarily for phone calls while I am doing other tasks. I will admit that the cord has gotten yanked out of the phone once or twice when I had the phone in my pocket and the cord caught on something as I moved around. That said, I would expect them to last longer than 3 months. Now there appears to be a broken wire inside the cord near where it plugs into the phone - the sound cuts out anytime I move even a tiny bit; sometimes the loose/broken wire seems to cause a "short circuit" and the phone will hang up in the middle of the call - it is directly related to movement of the headphone cord - NOT a dropped call. SO, if you are gentle with them, and take really good care of them, they will likely last about a year. If you are a bit rough on them - don't expect them to last long

Call/play button does not work, defective
Ok, I don't normally write reviews, but I got a couple of emails begging for a review of this product so here goes. It was a wast of my money. I have used earbud headphones to sleep for several years and the brand I have normally used has stopped production so I am in search of another brand to use. These were reasonably priced so I tried them.1. There is clearly a short in the call button, it turns my music on and off randomly and won't make calls when I need it to.2. The earbuds come in several sizes, but they are not very comfortable.3. The length of cord from the call button to the ear is really short.4. See number 1...with them turning on and off randomly, and not making or answering calls.....they can't be used.Sending things back are really a pain in the rear so I usually (for minor purchases) don't bother. I will try another brand.

this might not be a bad thing if you were listening to music or for ...
I ordered this headset based on the description. Once I received it I immediately began to use it. Three telephone calls later, from different parts of the city and two different iPhones everyone was telling me they could not understand me due to distortion of my voice. I could remove the Audist SX-3511, plug in the original iPhone headsets and there was immediate clarity to the person I speaking with. I ordered three of the original iPhone 4S headsets from Amazon and will be tossing the Audist. This headset also fit so tightly into my ear I could not hear external noise typically associated with traffic which is necessary to be a safe driver. In all fairness, this might not be a bad thing if you were listening to music or for something other than driving. Unfortunately, I could not recommend these to anyone.

AUDIST... Is that the same as AUDIOT? :)
If anyone says these sound great, they don't know what they are talking about. To be fair these are cheap so they sound and feel cheap. I got them because I was trying to find the smallest earbud I could see judging by amazon pictures. These are small but not as small as I would like and because of that hey aren't super comfortable for me. They are PASSIVE audio so... very little to no low-end, the highs break up and distort at low volumes, and you can hear everything that is going on in your environment around you. I'm still on the search for a small ear-bud that will be super comfortable in my ears if I lay on my side because these are not it.

Sound like they're made from recycled cat food cans.
Anyone who says these are decent-- considering the price-- doesn't know what they're talking about. The drivers sound like they're made from recycled cat food cans. I'm an audio engineer-- though not a picky one. But these are a total waste of money, and those who gave it more than one star simply don't understand good audio. There is tons of scratchy distortion in all the ranges. They are powerful, but that means loud distortion, which doesn't improve things. I bought these as an experiment to replace my OEM apple phones that were lost. Big mistake. If you don't understand, or care about good audio, these are for you.

Great headphones!
I have purchased four or five pairs of these headphones (multiple pairs because I am hard on them and lose them, not that they have ever broken) You can not get better for the price or twice the price for that matter. I talk on the phone a lot while commuting and all my friends tell me that I come through loud and clear. This is very important to me. I can also hear vey well. I use them when running too and have never had a problem. They also have excellent customer service, always an e-mail follow-up to make sure all is ok.I highly recommend this headphones.
