Seems to do the trick and a perfect fit for my safe.
I bought this rod because I thought it would fit my safe perfectly and it did.The stand that it comes with could use a little redesign because if you bump the rod it will usually knock off of the stand. Other than that, I really like it. (It will be very easy to make a new stand that will do the trick).

Works and keeps on working
I have a 64 size gun safe a big one! I bought two of these 36 inches each and two was one too many. It got up to 93 F inside the safe I unplugged one and it's now in the low 80s I would only use a long one for the really big safes , I have a medium size safe with two 18 inch and it's usually 75 but it's not fire rated and or air tight . I have some golden rods that are going on ten years old and still working

Helped get rid of the damp smell in closet
This has saved my closet from the dampness we have here by the ocean. Everything seemed to have that damp smell but now it’s so much better. I am thinking of buying another one for my other closet.

Say goodbye to that damp smell!
This seems to be doing what I want it to do. I out this in my closet because I live in Hawaii where we have a lot of humidity. Mold and dampness is a problem. After I put it in my closet the smell of damp clothes was gone. I will let you know how it hold up.

Cannot handle 300 cubic foot safe room
Rated for "up to 500 cubic feet".Purchased for 300 cubic feet concrete block safe room. Room is vented at top. Average humidity before purchase 65-70%.Average humidity after running several days....no change. If anything slightly higher. Does not work in this large space as advertised.

Not much to say here, it works as advertised.
I purchased the 36 inch one and my shelving and rifle holders were lower than the length of the Goldenrod. It comes with two small plastic brackets that snap on and I put them on and just hung it in the corner. it gets hot but not burning hot. It does heat the air inside the safe which is what you want. Goldenrod is pretty the standard on this stuff.

More than enough capacity for my Cannon Safe
This GoldenRod is substantial enough to heat my large Cannon Safe during the winter months. I have the 36-inch and 12-inch rods. The safe is in my garage, which has very minimal insulation. I would insist on operating this dehumidifier with a silica gel desiccant if you live in a relatively humid environment. I live in Seattle, where the humidity is usually above 60% - so the silica gel desiccant was completely necessary.
