It works well. I recently came across my childhood stamp collection. It was in a 1980s photo album. I needed to save it! This was the ticket.

Purchased this stamp album to house my topical stamp collection. I am very pleased with my purchase. In depth review below:1) My album came wrapped in a plastic film. No scratches, dents, or warping to the cover. My corners are nice and sharp. There is no damage to the edges or binding.2) The thickness of the album is what I expected. My topical collection is on the smaller side, so this album is prefect for my needs. If you need more album space, size up to the lighthouse 32 page album which comes with 64 total pages.3) Album lays completely flat on each page when open. The glassine dividers are the classic sheerness and easy to see through. Each one of them is crisp with no tears or folds. I know some people complain about these dividers because it’s not completely transparent like the plastic ones, but these glassine pages are standard for protecting the quality of your stamps from a variety of irritants. I would not purchase an album that didn’t come standard with them.4) The rows to hold the stamps are clean and well fixed to the album page. No tearing or lifting on any of the edges. I attached a photo of some stamps of different sizes so you can see how they would display in the album.These albums can be a bit on the pricey side, so the value and price is this specific sized album is unbeatable. Most places I have seen the cheapest price to be $22-$23, not including shipping and taxes.Overall, 5/5 stars. If I need another small stamp album in the future, I will return to here for purchase.

For the price, these are quite good. My only complaint is that the cover material is on the flimsy side, being bent most of the time. Besides that, they're about as good as their most expensive brothers. If you need a low cost quality stock book this should be among the top choices for you.

Having a stock book is a blessing! I now can sort my stamps by their theme and find them in my collection quickly. Want to know where all the LOVE stamps are? There are several stamps that could fit the bill, what is their denomination? This book makes my collection easier to navigate.VERY-VERY-VERY good quality book. I think I will try the book with acrylic interleaving next. The glassine interleaving in this book is a bit too opaque for my needs and aging eyes. And just so you know, this is NOT the fine glassine paper used for the envelopes at the post office, this is HEAVY-DUTY stuff!An awesome book. I just can recommend this enough to any stamp collector/sorter/organizer.

The Lighthouse Stockbooks are new to me. I have never seen one in person. It was difficult choosing the right one, even with the product description, not knowing the true quality of the product. Let me assure you, that every one of the Lighthouse Stockbooks available will be well worth the investment.I ordered the black 32 page book with 9 rows on each page. The binding is durable, the pages are double protected with translucent pages, and the overall quality is evident. The 32 page book I bought was solid and heavy in hand.I bought this stockbook, not for stamps, but to hold cigar labels from my favorite brands. It works quite well in this regard.
