Sweet Little Adapter all but vanishes into the MacBook air
This little adapter takes the microSD card and then sinks completely into the MacBook Air SD card reader leaving out just enough plastic so you can extract it using your fingernail. This way you can expand the storage capability of the MacBook Air easily. It works really well for things like movies / TV shows that you want to take with you when you travel. On an airplane... watch a movie... in a hotel with terrible WiFi, don't try to stream it, just watch it off your SD Card. Going to be gone 3 weeks to africa? Take along a small box of MicroSD cards and you are set.

I liked it for the day I had it
I liked it for the day I had it. I have no idea what happened to it so I didn't get to test it out properly. Small and fit flush with my Lenovo Y50 Touch laptop. Which is what I wanted since the computer has a solid state hard drive with only 256GB of storage.

Doesn't work, pick something else
Sticks out from my mid 2013 Retina MacBook Pro. I could ignore the fact that it doesn't sit flush, but it also doesn't work consistently. Many times when I go to use the card, I find that the computer is not recognizing it, and I have to take out the adapter and reseat the micro SD card before it will read.

Nifty little product to expand memory.
Fits well in my macbook retina - but beware - you have to buy the right-sized card for your computer. Not all SD slots are the same so read the descriptions VERY carefully. Overall it works well - decent access speeds but not blazing. Use it to store music on 128g card.

Misleading Ad
Sticks out to far on a Macbook Pro 15 Retina. The ad shows an almost flush fit. Its so big that it make no sense to puchase, just use a standard Mini Drive Micro SD TF Card to SD Slot Adapter

Does exactly what it is supposed to do. Fit my mid 2009 Mac book pro and has had no problems. I am using it with a 64gb off brand micro SD card.

Does exactly what it says it does. Paired with Samsung Evo/Pro MicroSD slots, it's faster than the internal storage on the Windows Tablet. Holds a stack of my steam games, happily.
