A Perfect Present
I bought this model as I present for my business partner and he is thoroughly pleased with it. He likes the fact that to see the flywheel spinning it should be placed over a mug of hot water, with a little help to set it going it spins fast by the power of steam heat. The model is strongly constructed of metal, and is great to have in the office as it gets people talking. I thoroughly recommend it not just for adults but for children to watch and learn how it works.

Well constructed and solid
I think this is a nicely constructed and solid piece. In my opinion it has nice workings and has a good weight to it. I find it works well and is a nice object that draws interest from my workers around. The whole steam powered aspect is cool and placing if you place it on my cup of tea, it start up and makes me want to connect it to something to use the kinnetic power it may produce. I think this is a nice present for someone, but unfortuantely it is not cheap. It would make a great keepsake and I recon it would last a lifetime too, so I think this helps towards justifying the price.

Good gift!
It is a good gift. Very simple to use. Even if you bored with it at some time you just let others to use for fun (especially in an office). Can be at your desk forever - it is nice gadget, stylish and cool. No assembly required - arrived assembled and well protected (good packaging).

Excellent gift for scientists / physics lovers!!
Bought for 2 Physics teachers leaving school and they both completely loved it, tested it straight away and thought it was brilliant, caused quite a stir in the science department! Corners of the boxes were a bit crushed which didn’t look worthy of a £50 price but it made up for it upon opening.

A good looking machine - a nice weighty piece - works well with a puffing sound like a steam engine - works best if you use the largest possible diameter of mug.
