Excellent for catching smelt, even the smallest goldfish! I purchased two one for back up in case something happens it feels very durable though.

Over Christmas, I received a full Ranger net to fish for smelt. When I joined a group of friends at the waterfront, I was told that the black net would likely scare the smelt away and that the mesh size was likely too small. A search of Amazon lead me to this replacement net. Since mesh size was a concern I contacted the supplier and asked for clarification. Though there was a small glitch in the order, it was immediately corrected and I have never had any company provide more assurance and personal attention than I received here.The net seems to be high quality, and is exactly what I was expecting. The customer service was exceptional. If this appears to be what you need, order without hesitation.

I am not satisfied on my order.the zise of the mesh hole is so small .I am expecting a 1/4 hole
