A-BF400 LED Filament A19 4W to Replace 40W Incandescent Bulb Softwhite (2700K)

I love these light bulbs. Not only do they put off nice, even light, but they look like actual bulbs.I showed these to my neighbor, who has sold commercial lighting for longer than I have been alive. He has seen and sold it all. Not these, though. These were new to him. He said they were the most natural looking LED bulbs he has seen to date.If I had to list one negative, it is that the rubbery coating grabs dust and cat fur, and is difficult to keep clean. No big deal.I wish this same brand made bulbs in a 2W and 1W version.

A very convincing replica of a incandescent bulb, no plastic, even the paper covering the electronics in the base is the same color as the glue used to mount the base on an incandescent bulb, The only tell tail sign is the yellow Filaments, in a antique fixture powered up, looks a lot like an old fashioned Mazda bulb from the 1940's complete with shadows on the walls from the fixture. tested about 4.2 watts as bright as a 30 watt incandescent. a major bad point NOT dimmable! limiting places to put it where it can be seen. The light comes more from the sides as expected. can't be exposed to weather or enclosed fixtures. still it looks good, a real nice bulb with limited uses. I do like them.

I love these. I almost don't want to write a review, because I know they'll never be in stock again if word gets out. This is the closest thing to a clear glass filament 40W incandescent that I believe exists. Always cool enough to touch. Rubberized coating on the glass. Absolutely fantastic lamp for slightly subdued but not mood lighting. A very honest to goodness representation of 2700K light. If you are looking for super warm, you will still want a long filament Edison (beautiful golden orange glow). Those look cool, but these are more practical IMO, and are only 4W!

The appearance is great, and the color temp is a good match for my GE CFL's of the same color temp rating, but it has an annoying delay of about a half to 3/4 of a second after the CFL's have already turned on. If I only had 4 of these in the fixture I'm not sure I would be so annoyed by it, but having the other bulbs turn on and then suddenly it gets brighter when this bulb decides to turn on is a little jarring.

Really cool filament led bulbs. I have had these outside for several months with no problems. One bulb does have a little bit of a hum. I don't really care because it's outside. The most important part is that these bulbs are gorgeous and my clear fixtures and I don't cringe at the electric bill from leaving them on all night.

Bulb works great and is as described. That being said, I was seeking an LED bulb that looked like an Edison bulb. This has the exposed filaments like those. But the light output is too bright and the color too white (not warm enough). So the Edison bulbs I use will stay in their fixtures, and this neat looking bulb will just end up in a different spot. Nothing wrong with the bulb, just wasn't what I was seeking.

Great bulb...perfect for my modern industrial look! Electrician said the plastic on the exterior is a breakage resistant coating.
