Max's Toys (Max and Ruby)

Bought as a gift for a one year old. Such fun.

This children's classic is a sweet read for all. It makes an excellent gift and is particularly of the Max and Ruby series that can be continued for gifting.

The board book was in excellent shape when it arrived and my daughter loves it. However, one of the 2 characters (Ruby) is kind of a brat. I have to tell my daughter every time we read the book that she needs to behave better than Ruby when someone wants to share toys. She loves the book, though, and the illustrations are adorable. It arrived quickly, too.

Now for my fourth grandson! My three youngest children treasured all their Max and Ruby books and gave them to their kids - so had to buy a new one! Well, worth the price.

My toddler really likes Max And Ruby books and shows. And he likes this book just fine but it’s just not my fave.

As a gift! Love it! Do you have the book where Max becomes invisible?

The books seem really silly from an adult viewpoint but man, my 20 month old boy goes NUTS for Max. Loves them all

This is one of several of her Max books we used with our three. Now with a grandchild, we are making sure we have them here and that he has them at home. Wells delivers great images that wee ones enjoy (and parents don't mind at all). The action and few words seem to work their magic. Our guys were saying and recognizing the words with these more than with other picture books.
