Good Little Tripod
Took this little guy with me to a wedding. It is lightweight and stylish looking. It is very simple, just a ball head on top of 3 legs. The legs feel like steel but aren't terribly heavy. I think the Oben line of table top tripods is underrated, not too many people know of them.I used it during a wedding. Setup my cousin's video camera with this thing on the ground while I videotaped with my camera. It worked! Will hold my Panasonic GX1 (compact system camera) with no problem. It will also hold a DSLR like Nikon D40 with kit lens.I will take this on hikes with me. It is small and light enough to place in a larger jacket pocket or pants pocket. When the legs pull out they provide enough resistance so that you can pull them only part way and get some additional height off the ground or place it on an uneven surface like taller rocks.Tried using it to brace against my chest to stabilize shots. Kind of tough to do as the legs are a bit short for this, but it did work. Cheaper than the Manfrotto unit, well worth the cost. I considered the table top model with the extension (TT-200), but it's a just a little too tall for what I want it for. Not really pocketable, this TT-100 is definitely pocketable.

Loving it - Sturdy and Low!
I've had a couple mini-tripods, but none that were this close to "professional grade." This one is by far the best I've owned, and the included ball-head is really nice as well. The tripod legs:The wide spread on the legs is nice because it keeps the head of the tripod fairly low (I think the ball head is around 4 inches off the ground when the legs are open), and maintains a nice center of gravity that won't tip easily. The spread of the legs also means you won't get them in your shot if you're using a super wide angle lens (I had this issue when using my iPhone on top of another table-top tripod a while back). The ball-head:The head tightens down tight. I could get it to slip when I tried (I had my Canon 60D attached and exerted extra downward force), but under normal use cases, this thing seems to stay put really well. I use the Oben mainly with my iPhone (connecting using a MeFoto Sidekick 360 (which, by the way is THE adaptor to get!)), and the Oben easily supports the weight. If you had a big honkin' camera, with a big telephoto or zoom, you may have an issue with the ball slipping or the tripod tipping due to the lens weight, but in most cases I think you will be very happy with this little tripod.Recommended Accessory/Side Note: If you are looking for a tripod mount to use the Oben with your phone, check out the MeFoto Sidekick 360. Just picked this up the other day, and it is by far the best I've had for mounting your iPhone. You might have to buy it from B&H if Amazon isn't carrying it yet..

EXCELLENT and strong tripod exceeds rated support capacity
WOW! After buying a Pedco Ultrapod Grip tabletop tripod that I returned after finding how unsteady and weak it was in supporting even half the safe weight it was rated for, this Oben TT-100 is from the other end of the spectrum in sturdy strength. I added a Desmond DAC-38 clamp to it, raising the price another $19 and making the tripod only slightly more bulky, but in return I've got a fantastic compact tripod. While rated for 6lbs. of gear, it was able to support 7.1 lbs. of a Nikon D7100 w/Battery Grip + 70-200 Nikkor VR lens + SB800 flash without a problem with the lens horizontal and although not recommended, that was with the tripod attached to the battery grip tripod socket. In a tilted position, that gear was too off-balance to work, but with it all more properly mounted using the lens' tripod collar, the improved balance showed that the tripod head was indeed strong enough to hold even a tilted position of the camera. The contruction quality feels superb, with smoothly snug legs that don't just flop out, and there is really no sense of wobble at all. I couldn't be happier.

Essential Equipment For Photographers
Absolutely love it. Sturdy, excellent quality, perfect for packing in your duffel bag or backpack, works smoothly, and once adjusted and locked down it stays put. Works perfect with just about anything: GoPro camera, pocket projector, DSLR, Zhiyun Smooth Q, etc. I carry mine in my backpack inside a big microphone wind mitt to protect my other gear. It's nice to have when you want it, sets up quick, and always works perfectly.*** If this review was helpful, please let me know. Thanks *** :)

Not perfect but will do
The table tripod is well built. I'm not too excited about the legs. I thought it would stand up taller or would be a nice touch if it ratched so you could put the legs in multiple positions instead of fully sprawled out. The tripod with the legs lock all the way out only sits above the table about an inch and then you have another inch and 1/2 to the top of the tripod. The ballhead operates nicely. It's a good quality product, just not sure it's what I was hoping for. The legs hold steady in place when not fully spread out, but it probably depends on the weight of the equipment you are putting on it. It holds my Fuji X100F ok in both positions, just have to be careful. Not sure I'll keep it.

More of a camera stand than a tripod, but works great.
Nice little stand. I bought this after I watched a training video on my Nikon D810, and the presenter was using this tripod to hold up the camera while he demonstrated. I really liked the idea of being able to set the camera on a table (on this tripod) and adjust setting, rotate around etc. As an extra, it makes a great little tripod to carry on a trip when I don't want to carry a real tripod. I can set this on a table, or on the ground or top of a wall, and get many of the benefits of a full size tripod, without having to carry around all that size an weight. Very sturdy, very well made. I would like to see a little more adjustment on the top, but other than that, very good buy.

Decent stand, terrible delivery time.
It seems to be a pretty good stand so far, not good at holding heavier mice at an angle but fine when upright. The delivery time (4 weeks) was a joke though. I also ordered a battery pack from the States which arrived in 12 days so there’s no excuse for the delay.

Great portable tripod - Great Solid support for travel camera Gear
Item arrived within 3 days of ordering (fulfilled by Amazon.ca)Originally bought this for my Mirrorless Cameras (Olympus OMD-EM5) for travelling. This table tripod and ball head is solidly built that I mounted my Pentax K5 IIs with a Tamron 17-50mm f/2.8 and then with the Pentax 18-135mm f/3.5-5.6 ED WR lenses and found that this little tripod was able to support them with no problem! This little tripod really can carry a load of 6 lbs as the specifications say!The only downside is this tripod is slightly heavier than other table tripods created from aluminium. However, aluminium tripods just cannot compare with the stability, flexibility with the ball head and support this little tripod delivers. Will definitely recommend this to a friend.
